"Y'know when you apologize to a cat, maybe try empathy instead of sympathy." His tail flicked, tone soothing a bit more. "You're lucky, you know that right? You've been so- crass, to everyone. SlothStep went out of his way to help you and make you feel better, you know what an earful I got about you when you first came to camp? And yet you still somehow managed to make the one most helpful cat in here genuinely dislike you? Not to mention what you've said to and about BengalStar." He mewed, less angry- more disappointed. "You haven't shown that you actually want us to help, that you actually like any of us. You've just shown that we're entertainment- are we your entertainment, Azul?" He stopped, and stared at the tomcat. |

"What?! No!" I shouted, staring at the tom in disbelief. "I like this clan, every cat is unique and they care for one another. They don't try killing each other for a bite of prey. I'm not entertained, I envy everyone! They live such a good life, and are close, I never had that. It's why I want to join so bad, to finally fit in. You have a dream home Foxspring, I know cats who would kill to live this life." |

He stared for another moment, before letting out a sigh. "Envy is an emotion that is powerful, but a warrior must fight for what riches they have, that is what truly makes them special. Azul, your life here will not be easy. It will be easier than rogue life- however it will still hold many challenges. You are no longer hunting for your own mouth- you are hunting for everyone here, you are surviving so everyone here survives." He mewed, his voice calm- yet still not cheery like he is to other cats. "So many do not realize that to kill a cat is to have blood on your paws- to kill an innocent cat is to have the world tearing you apart until you are nothing. Guilt is not a feeling- it is a spirit. That is why we don't kill. That is why I don't kill." |

He paused, "I won't accept your apology. But I won't deny it. Maybe one day when I can see you've changed we can be friends- but until then. We are just clanmates."
