Osha exists so I would be interested in there being an item (preferably a herb to keep the theme) with similar effects except instead of removing the primary mutation first it removes the secondary mutation first. I thought this would be useful for |

yeah, being able to just remove the secondary mutation seems like something that should be possible. |

no support. though maybe in future when more mutations are added. Not that it's a bad Idea, it's just unnecessary. Right now the only secondary mutations are albinism and melanism, which aren't lethal. Their only disadvantage is that they cover up the markings, but they're rare enough that you should never want to remove the mutation. The reason osha is there (as far as i know) is because primary mutations are currently lethal, so if you want to keep the pup without freezing, or breed it for more mutants, you have to use an osha. It's a good idea to, because breeding a melanistic/albino wolf creates more so you can sell them for super high. That seems to be what osha is for. Removing a secondary mutation is possible with osha (though at this point doing it would kinda just be super dumb) and the 'primary mutations first' only matters if they have two mutations. If in future we get non-lethal primary mutations and disadvantageous secondary mutations, then it sounds like a great idea. |

@Bluefire I understand what you are saying, I also agree that mutations (especially double mutations) would be weird to remove since all mutations are rare, valuable, and in high-demand, but at the same time while it would not be something I would do to a mutated wolf I would still want it to be an option for people who do want that choice even if it is something I would never use. While all the current secondary mutations are non-lethal some people might not want a mutation to begin with and they just want a 'normal' wolf and do not care about selling a mutated wolf for profit, they just want the 'normal' wolf. Maybe their mutated wolf was born on a special day (e.g. their birthday) to a special breeding pair and they want that wolf but not that mutation, but the reasoning does not have to be as specific as that. While I disagree with what you said I appreciate your feedback nevertheless. I hope you have a good one! :D |

Support! If I were to get a lethal pup, I'd want the opportunity to fully customize it before making it immortal or adding it to my dynasty. If it had Melanism or Albinism, too, though, the customization wouldn't show. Personally, Melanism is way too dark for me, so I would actively want to remove that but not the lethal mutation. Sure, I'd be able to sell it for more with both mutations intact, but that wouldn't matter if I wanted to keep it. |
