In the rules, the normal max is 30. So it takes a while for you to actually need to buy a condo.

Random explores, it would take too long for me to add every possible marking so random explores solve that. It's cheaper to do multiple randoms than use a creepy coat. But if you wanted a specific coloration, I would suggest that.
