On Wolvden, wolves can contract a wide variety of illnesses, explained more in depth here (thank you, Grouse House!). Some illnesses, such as fleas and ticks, are relatively harmless, while others, such as distemper and pox, are lethal to wolves who contract them. This is where my specialty comes into play. Each wolf can only have one single illness at a time, so a wolf with fleas cannot contract any other diseases, including lethal ones or other contagious illnesses. Therefore, if you have a pack that likes to bring home all the nasty sickness, fleas may be the ideal solution for you instead of wasting your time with herbal remedies! The only downside (that I've found) is that each wolf receives an automatic -3 HP penalty on contraction, and wolves lose a bit more mood each rollover than normal, but besides that, everything is completely normal!

My current rate is 2 GC per rollover, or 100 SC, for a single wolf.

Once an exchange is confirmed, I will set up a private trade for the wolf with a 2 GC or 100 SC buyout, and when you’re ready to return the wolf, you will simply set a private trade with the wolf and remaining GC/SC (if kept for longer than one rollover) + an additional 1 SC for a buyout of 1 SC, and the rental will be complete!

For the time being, I’m limiting my rentals to one wolf per pack, for as many days as you would like. This will likely change in the future when I can increase my den size, but for now, the limit is firm. Sorry for any inconvenience!

By renting a wolf from me, you automatically agree to these terms, as well as agree to not cause drama in an attempt to circumvent these rules. I encourage you to read them thoroughly, but they’re fairly straightforward if you’d rather not read through yet another wall of text. 

1. Fleas are not guaranteed to spread to your wolves. There is a 36% chance of contraction upon each and every rollover in which a flea-infested wolf resides in the same cave as another wolf in the pack or in an unsorted cave. This chance is rolled for each wolf with this illness, so the more flea-ridden wolves in your pack, the greater the odds of other wolves contracting fleas. While you are more than welcome to cancel your rental at any time, you will not be refunded for any rollovers in which fleas were not contracted. By renting a wolf from me, you hereby acknowledge this risk, and agree that a refund is not necessary in the event that your wolves do not contract fleas. However, if three rollovers have passed and the fleas still have not spread to your wolves, I encourage you to PM me regarding a potential price discount at my own discretion.

2. Any and all wolves for rental belong to me, Tay (#13638), and must be returned to me at the end of the rental period. If a wolf is not returned to me or I do not receive the pre-decided payment for the time period for which the wolf was rented, you will be banned from any future rentals, as well as from any other forum sales, events, contests, studdings, etc that I host, manage, or own. This is nonnegotiable.

3. I request that you please set up a private trade including the wolf and the owed amount of GC or SC as soon as possible after rollover upon return, so that I may receive the wolf back as quickly as possible and rent them out to the next player on the waitlist. If you happen to set up a private trade within a few hours of the next rollover and I do not accept it in time before the next rollover hits, you will not be charged for that rollover, so long as the wolf was in the trade the entire duration of that time. 

4. Please be respectful of every player in this thread, including myself. Any disagreements must be taken to PMs and not announced publicly, including “throwing shade” or any subtle callouts. If you have any issues that you feel must be addressed to me directly, PM me and we can work it out in private, including discussions involving my pricing and the fairness of it.

5. Do not change the name, footnote, biography, or appearance of the wolf you are renting. All wolves will come with my ID number in their name, so you know where to send them back when you’re done renting them.

counterklock- i doubt i'm the first person to think of it, but thank you! it's certainly worked out well for my pack, haha. and i love bugs, and i would love to focus on the conservation of myriapods (millipedes and centipedes) in the future, as well as providing better conditions in captivity for our little creepy crawly friends! <3

Geez, Tay, you were so quick to make this post. I am already in line to get a flea wolf from another kind player. But if they back out, I might swing by later.

QueenOfFrowns- if you're from the thread i'm thinking of, i already have two people who rented wolves from me, so i figured i could make a bit of extra money if i set up an actual rental system for it! hopefully all goes well for you, but if the other person does happen to back out, i'd love to see you around! <3
