Inanis was fast asleep. Her wings flopped, one over her, the other hanging off the tree. Her tail, the most controlled part of her body, hovered close to her bow and makeshift targets.

She chose to distract herself by setting specific feathers on fire why? Because it was fun to become better at controlling that

Inanis woke up with a grumble, mainly because of the sudden heat. With a yawn, she sat up properly, and noticed that Tempest had returned.

Inanis shook her head in attempt to wake herself up. The female almost lost balance, but was now fully awake. Stretching her razor-sharp wings, the half-bird hopped down from her branch and picked up her bow. Passing to Tempest, she grabbed the slate slabs. "I'm going to throw these in the air, you have to hit them, clear?"

It took Inanis everything to not laugh. Tempest had a terrible formation holding the female's bow. Chuckling a bit, the half-bird asked one sentence. "Want me to teach you how to hold a bow?"
