 How to get a Kitty: One of our more sustainable ways to gain a cat is to adopt from the shelter! This is where users can drop off unwanted cats for others to adopt! This first batch is free, but beyond now, there will be a 60 sc charge to adopt! Only one kitten a week per user please! We'd like to keep the shelter open for all participants! Shelter •°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°• Another way to gain an adorable furry friend is to simply attract one! These kitties can be pretty finicky, so you may want an item to improve your chances! Simply setting out a dish of dry food will cost you 100 sc, and will grant you a 15% chance of attracting a random cat Leaving some Tuna for them will cost 300 sc, but will increase your chances for a random cat to 50% For a 100% chance of a random kitty, be sure to leave out some salmon for 400 sc But if you would like to attract only the finest cats, serve them some delectable sushi for 500 sc, which will give a 25% chance to attract the cat of your choosing (along with 75% chance for random cat) If you want to be quite sure you will get the cat you want, give them a bowl of milk for 600, for a 50% chance to get a cat of your choosing (along with 100% chance for random cat) If you fancy, you can also purchase a bell (200 sc) to raise the chance to attract a mutie by 15% ( can be stacked) If that's not your style, you can also leave out a ribbon to attract a sparkle cat! 15% (200 sc) °•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•° There is a third option! You can also purchase a full bred kitty from a distinguished breeder (aka me) These cats will be more likely to carry mutations or high fertility These high quality kitties cost 1000 sc or 2 gc each! It's well worth it though, as you can sell their kittens for a high dollar! The breeders •°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°• If you would like to breed your own kitties you must purchase a Love potion from the shop! Once you have that all you need are two cats! If you choose to breed from another players hoard, you must gain permission! Cats can have up to 3 kittens, which will be rolled, and determined by if they have a high fertility. You can ensure a cat has three beautiful babies by purchasing a basket from the shop! The player can choose to keep up to one of their litter kittens (mostly to keep the population under control) the rest will go into the pool of random encounters. If you would like to keep more, you need to purchase a baby bottle from the shop. I am not expert, but I do have some general knowledge of genetics, and I will be keeping track of each cats dominant and recessive traits. (Attracted cats recessives will be randomized) •°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°• Cat types: What type of cats can you find? Well beside the regular ones, you can find cats with mutations, or even find a colorful sparkle cat! Mutations include Albinism (A cat with regular genes, but an all white front with pink eyes and skin) Poly cats (cats with extra toes, ears, tails, and maybe a few limbs 👀) And kitties with Vitiligo (a condition that causes white patches or streaks in normally dark areas) These cats are harder to find, but can be attracted by bells (If I have an unrealistic representation or genetic understanding of any of these mutations please let me know, I love to learn new things, especially about cats and genetics) Another type of cat you can come across is a sparkle cat! These cats have bright, unnatural colored pelts and eyes! (Probably radioactive tbh) These colorful kitties love ribbon and can be attracted if you use them! •°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•° Shop! This is where you can buy all of your lovely items and customize your kitties! Items: Love potion (1 use, used to breed your cat) 2 Gc Milk bottle (one use, used to keep one extra kitten from any one litter) 400 sc or 1 Gc Basket (one use, is used to ensure three kittens are born) 500 sc or 1 gc Customizations: Eye changers (Used to change your cats eye color to another of your choice) 5 Gc Base changer (used to change the lineart for your cat to another of your choosing) 8 gc Collar decor (any color) 80 sc Socks decor (comes in stripes, mismatched, and regular, any color) 100 sc Tail decor (comes in, bow, feather, leaves, set colors) 80 sc Glasses (comes in glasses, sunglasses, Golden, silver and black) 90 sc Custom decor (5 gc) Practical items: Cat bed (allows for +1 extra cat) 200 sc Cat tree (allows for +5 extra cats) 500 sc Pillow fort (allows for +10 extra cats) 2 gc Gene test (this allows you to see all of your cats traits and lineage) 5 gc •°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°•°• Extra info: All members are allotted ten cats to begin with, this number can be increased by purchasing an expansion item, all of which can be stacked You can also earn store credit by donating to me: Food + Amusement: 10 sc per ten use, (for ex, 100 uses = 100 sc or the equivalent in gc) Den/nesting mats: 50 sc Aniseed/guarana/sex changer: 3 Gc Any applicators: Tc price (Other items are negotiable) Logs and such: Hoard links: Doc log: (Shameless plug, My comm thread) |

As you step out of your house, you see that the food you left outside has attracted a kitty! This kitty looks a bit strange though... It's seems you have attracted a sparkle cat!  You can choose to bring this kitty inside or leave it out to the cold... |
