I just started this game about a month ago and Im still confused about how stats are passed on to puppies. The mother of some new puppies i got had birth stats of 805 and the father of the pups had birth stats of 734. But somehow the puppies ended up having around 510 birth stats. I was expecting a minimum of 700 stats bc of their parents. Is this large gap from parent birth stat to pup birth stat normal? Are stats randomized at birth? |

Ex. Parents combined stats = 1,000 stats Pup birth stats are expected 30% = 300 birth stat pups. Not sure how those two parents can breed 500 stat pups as I've needed around 2k combined stats to get 500 birth stats, but I'm also not entirely sure of the exact percentage either. Another note, Runts or Largest pups will have a lower/higher birth stats than the rest |
