Ok, it's brief, but tell me if I need to change anything.

A deep alliance, friendship, and trust between two horse herds became shattered after an agreement had been broken.

The treaty and peace that they agreed to was swallowed by rants and attacks on both of the herds from each other, and eventually, they split farther into their territories, hate lingering in all their minds.

But before these betrayals there had been close friendships between some of the foals, who couldn't bear to be separated from each other.

Will the treaty be resurrected? Can they find another agreement after such a conflict as one they experienced?
