The autumns cold, crisp, and colorful with the reminders of winter licked Innis' face like a tongue, a rather chilled one at that. Innis rose stiffly, her eyes dark and deep from yesterday's encounter.

She slowly crawled a little closer to the fire, soaking up the invisible warmth it gave off.

Innis sat in silence, seeming to feel Saege's transparency. But she was a little haunted, wanting to forget everyone and everythingย  that happened.
She didn't want to tell Saege that she had woke up silently after a nightmare, one that terrified her to a great extent. She had lied awake for hours that night, before exhaustion overcame her mind and she had drifted off once more, and was greeted with a slightly less morbid dream.
Innis crisscrossed her legs together, thinking.
