The first bloom of spring breaks through the snow surrounding the Silverdawn mountains, at last Winter has come to an end and life can return to normal once more. The forest, once filled with predator and prey had been barren for many moons but now life begins a new, as does the new life of this pack. A young confident male wolf who had lost everything over the course of a year now reaches his old home once again, ready to start his legacy and become the ruling wolf of the Silverdawn mountains. OOC - link CS - link Rules: Lets keep them simple! 1. Do not powerplay! Lets keep this fun for everyone 2. You may have up to 3 characters 3. Lets keep this friendly and pg, treat people as you wish to be treated 4. You may ask for mates/crushes/enemies and the like but again keep everything pg 5. You are welcome to use wolves from your pack or make some in wardrobe! 6. This is going to be a chill rp group, you don't not have to have great grammar or amazing spelling as long as it's understandable! 7. If you wish to kill you have to ask permission, if you kill or attack without perms people are allowed to void you and ignore your action. 8. In the case of roles, you can fight for the role of Alpha or beta but make it fair and try to figure out who's going to win before hand. (Flip a coin if you can't decide). Kodiak wonders out from the small opening of the cave that he had made his home. Piercing eyes constricting as they allow in the bright white glow of snowfall. The frost shakes from his thick winter coat, his bones creaking as he stretches out upon the rocky foundation of the Mountains base. With a groan the young Alpha begins his trek towards the mountains stream, lapping up his fill of refreshing spring water. Intrigued eyes search the nearest brush for any signs of an easy meal, or perhaps a pack mate. Something to pique his interest and keep him busy during the cold early spring morning. |

Aurora's thick tail wags anxiously as Kodiak steps out from his den, her rose colored iris's widen as she takes in his features. His friendly but cold gaze finds hers she quickly nods a hello, tail wagging behind her. Aurora however does not attempt to chat, turning to dart off into the cold forest brush that surrounds the Silverdawn Mountains. Her plan? She wishes to find a crow skull or perhaps bird bones to bring to the pups for play time. Aurora has only just become an adult and is brand new to her role, in order to prove herself she wishes to go above and beyond for the packs youth. Pitch black pupils expand as she spots a crow plucking worms from the ground within a clearing, the signs of spring peaking up through the snow laden grass. Silently she springs forward capturing the poor crow in her grasp. "Yes! Gotcha!" |

Mornings were definitely not Zephyrus' favorite part of the day, when he had to leave his warm nest and enter the cold morning air. As he lay for a few extra moments in his rabbit furred lined nest, the speckled wolf wondered why he and Amanat chose the mountains to settle down in. The winters were bitterly cold, and prey was scarce. Some days he would return with little to nothing to offer the pack in terms of food, which had him feeling like a failure. Amanat would always assure him that it was just like that during the winters and there was nothing he could do, but it didn't often help. Luckily warmer weather was just on the horizon, the mountain slowly waking after such an awful season. Bolstered by the thought, Zephyrus finally pushed himself to his paws and slipped from the den. It took a moment for his eyes to adjust to the sudden lighting change, but after a few quickly blinks he became aware that the camp was still quiet. Had anyone else woken, or were those that had already out? Tail twitching, he stretched his lanky body before loping out the entrance and towards the stream for a drink to rid himself of the taste of sleep. With the slightly warming weather, he figured there might be some prey moving about and planned to spend the morning searching for the pups and omegas breakfast. Yet as he neared the stream, the familiar scent of their pack alpha reached his sensitive nose, and he paused. Rarely did Zephyrus interact with Kodiak, preferring to stay in the background and simply do his job and try not to catch the lead wolf ire. Ears flattening, the beta wondered if it would be best to leave and find a different spot to drink. |

Pack life was very different than that of a nomad, Amanat had come to learn. And while some parts of a stable home were nice, a part of her missed being able to roam as she pleased. Scouting a specified territory then returning to a base camp to report was not near as fulfilling. Flopping on top of a craggy ledge, the brown she-wolf looked over the territory from her perch higher up on the mountain. She'd woken early, and deciding rather than waste her day lazing about she'd leave early to perform her duties. Not that there was much else to do in this weather. Maybe later in the day she's corner her cousin and force him to work on some fighting moves to improve his capabilities. Also, watching him flounder about was amusing. The thought had her chuckling, and with a delicate sniff to the air to be sure there was nothing amiss Amanat lay her head on her paws and stared off into the distance. |

The Tall and rather stocky Alpha glanced over at Zephyrus, his stark white eyes lingering for a moment, taking in the wolfs posture and reaction to him. His gaze turned back towards the forest clearing, a sign of amusement twitching on his maw. Kodiak had the look of a cold and calculated wolf but was in fact quite friendly in his own straightforward while quiet way. "Good morning." He huffed, tail wagging high. He had made an attempt to put the beta at ease but If It failed he would not try again. |

Dreamstalker limped around until he heard some voices. He knew that he should go over. He nervously shifted his weight onto his good side. He let out a small whimper as his back left paw touched the ground. He tried to walk silently but stepped on a branch, making it snap loudly. |

Aurora bounded back towards the den, crow skull and bones in her maw ready to be given to the pups of the pack. She moved with glee until she spotted an injured wolf creeping towards the stream where the Alpha and Beta were both standing. She quickly placed the bones down into a pile before she rushed over to see what was happening. Her body lowered to the ground Aurora eye'd the new wolf cautiously. As she grew closer she realized they were clearly no threat. "You.. Are.. Are you ok?" She stepped forward, one paw held up as if she wasn't quite sure whether to approach or not. "Do you need assistance?" |

Kodiak notices the intruding wolf right away, his body standing tall and intimidating just in case of a rival Alpha. Once he was close enough to spot the omega his aggressive stance lessened. In a friendly but firm tone he chuckled. "You are a fool to sneak up on a pack of wolves.. But we are not the sort to turn away those in need of assistance. What is ailing you omega?" Kodiak asked, stepping over the bubbling stream to join the two smaller wolves. "You have entered the Silverdawn pack's territory. Also known as the Silverdawn Mountains. Did you not sense our sent markers?" He wondered for a moment, where the scouts were.. they had let an injured wolf slip into their territory. He would make sure to have a word with them when they came back. Kodiak, not wanting to scare the poor wolf allowed Aurora to check the wolf over instead. |
