@eli I'm doing a tier 3 breeding project, you can definitely get some for cheap since your not worried about lineage. As someone else said there are ALOT of foxes out there. But the realgar lines are pretty crowded so I'm trying to start a new one.

I've gotten all my t3 from breeding tier2 females to a tier 3. And then from 3 to 3. There is alot of fails even from 3 to 3 but that just makes it more exciting when you get one [or 3! Like i did the other day]

cool thank you! I think that's one of my biggest frustrations with the game--I have been playing since last winter and I have bred my TIIs to TIII studs dozens and dozens of times, and have never gotten one TIII. I wish breeding wolves of different base types would result in higher tiers more often as well. it's so strange to me that the probability changes so drastically with base similarity. anywho, I bought a wulfy and a fox, but I am not sure if i can afford another base type... i'll poke around!

I think it makes sense that the base chance would go astray when you breed very different colors- T1 and T2 practically outnumber T3 bases 1 to 5 in all categories, so when you cross over that many color combinations you're drastically increasing the # of T1 and T2 bases you could get.
