"Nothing, just want this cave system to feel more like a home." He laid back down. "And I want to know when I'm about to be a father."

"I don't know, she was nursing earlier, now she's not." Shadow said. "Get one of the others, please?" She said her voice desperate.

She whispered the story back.

Firework sighs and shakes his head. "I'm sorry Shadow, she's gone."

Shadow's shoulder starts heaving with sobs.

firework hears her. "aurora." he said his voice cracking. "come, let's burry her, next to dust, and her brother." he closed his eyes sadly.

shadow's eyes were glazed over as she cried, nuzzling her pups, for comfort.
