Silverstripe was walking around and he heard something ahead. "Hello?" He asked boldly walking forward, normally his large size made them run away.

Her dark tail swept leaves across the ground as she stood with her paws set up against the trunk of an old tree, she peered past the leaves and at that pest of a squirrel that had awoken her, muttering to herself while snarling upwards till a voice carried past the foliage.

Solara leapt away from the tree and stood set in place with her ears up in alert, before lowering down slowly and barking out defensively

"I have rabies! I hope you don't plan on coming any closer less you wish to share in it"

Her voice was fluent and strong with a subtle accent of something foreign

He smiled. "And dare see the dead?" He said his voice strong and deep. "I know you don't." He stepped into view and showed himself to her. "I'm Silverstripe, who are you?" His voice never wavered. "I always watch those who can't stay awake."

She nearly flinched, but obviously didn't Because she couldn't possibly have been taken by surprised when the stranger appeared.

Raising herself to seem taller and more capable in the presence of someone so much bigger, she bristled and straightened out her tail, while also keep her head up while she continued with the nonsense.

"Well.. fine fine, maybe not rabies, but you don't know! I could have flea's, hepatitis, some kind of terribly contagious new virus! You don't know nothing about me…"

She stared at him with a slightly scrunched face as she assessed if he actually was a threat, just judging by the introduction it probably wasn't likely she thought.

"Solara…. That's my name, but don't get used to saying it though, you were just leaving riight?"

She nodded her muzzle in a random direction away

"No." He growled, his growl shaking the trees. "I never sleep, but I do get tired." He shakes himself and it sounds like trees in the wind. "Don't make me mad or ill be as brutal as my father before me."

She instinctively bounded backwards staying steady on her paws when he growled, the sound almost as shocking as the effect it had on the forest, the breeze swirled gathering loosely around where Solara stood when she spoke up hastily.

"Alright! Alright.. no need to get snappy! Do as you wish I yield"

Her back lowered from the defensive arch but her ears stayed pinned against her head while her gaze kept a careful watch on his every action.

"What's it take for a girl to get a little peace and quiet around here"
She mumbled, throwing a brief eye roll

He chuckled. "I didn't mean to sound so aggressive." He said sitting down. "I just thought you were a threat." He sighs. "To honest, I didn't know what came over me."

Her stance eased ever so slightly with the change in tension, she looked off for a moment before taking a few careful steps towards him and tilting her head.

"That's potentially the only time Someone's thought I was dangerous… very well, we can just let that slide and move on"

She paused for a moment and sat down herself, her tail occasionally patted the dirt and lifted dust

"Why exactly are you here?… or traveling I guess, it's rare I see another wolf…. I assume your a wolf? in extra large maybe"

Her voice took on a more mellow and slightly melancholy tone

Hus laugh sounded like bells. "I was banished, and got lost." He said laying down to show that he is at ease. "It's an honor to meet you."

She froze for a short moment then blinked, speaking semi-flustered.

"Ah… an honor?"

She sputtered slightly and stood up to pace around

"I mean I wouldn't quite think meeting me would be all that special, I mean I'm not even all that good at uh- well socializing… not that I'm bad at it"

The wind started picking up slowly, the air trailing leaves and small debris up into the breeze as it spun and whirled while Solara continued to talk absently.

Her tail swayed side to side when she quieted back down and looked towards Silverstripe, and the flying leaves and particles fell immediately as the wind suddenly vanished

"…oh and uh, sorry you got banished"
