Event: The Matchmaker

Weighing in that I personally like the date-able wolves being 'playersexual', simply for the convenience of being able to acquire all of their decors (especially those of new additions) without having to buy them from users later after the event for (potentially) ridiculously high prices (or not be able to buy them at all, if they're only being sold for GC, which I don't have) . For me, they're just neat collectibles, so whether or not the NPCs are representative isn't really a big deal, to me, personally.

That said, I understand that some users feel upset or hurt by the lack of rep, esp those that tackle the event from a more RP-centric angle.

I do think, if ever they're returned to having their preferences—and this is a suggestion that I don't think I've seen suggested yet, but maybe it has been and I've just missed it—that a satisfying compromise could be having the decors added to the event shop and made purchasable for LB, so that way if someone wants the decor for a wolf they aren't able to date due to that wolf not liking their gender, then that player would still be able to obtain the decor that year, by buying it from the shop. I think for people like myself, who just want to collect the decors, and don't actually care about the RP of it all, that might be a way to make everyone happy, if preferences are reinstated? (Cause, at the end of the day, I think, for the majority of us that want playersexual to stay, it's not so much about actually being able to date the wolves, as it is about making sure we can get their decor.)
