So, I noticed when you're matchmaking, sometimes if you send a gift off of the category the wolf likes, sometimes it will be a "loved" gift instead of just liked.
Do the dateables (Swansea, Tala, etc) also have loved items? Like, will Swansea like one gemstone more than he likes the others?

There aren't specific items that an NPC likes, just the category. So Swansea likes gemstones, no particular one over the other.

Actually, each dateable character secretly has a particular item within their liked category that they love. You're lucky if you accidentally stumble across one.

I came across one myself last year. I don't remember what it was or for which character. I should have made a note. But I know for a fact this is true.

Oh no! I lied! I'm sorry! After I wrote my last message, I suddenly got confused as to whether I was remembering a dateable NPC giving an ADORED/LOVED rating or a matchable wolf. I ran to the Grouse House wiki and looked it up. I don't want to tell anyone something wrong. And Grouse House says that only matchables give the ADORED/LOVED rating for a secret loved item, not dateables.
