Is there any reptile owners out there?
I thought we could share our pets in our own room when there is a lot of people who
are very much afraid of snakes and spiders(yes spiders are welcomed as well)
Tell me about your animals and with pics if you can, would love to see your cuties ^^

Let me start

This is Skadi my little baby BEL Ballpython. She moved in to me 25th of October. She's a bit shy but are calm and curious!

The other two snakes I have are two Kenyan Sandboas. Only gonna show pic of one, the little shitter of a male.

He likes to bite... Thank god it doesn't hurt when he bites but heck is it annoying xD
Everytime I'm like 'U gonna be nice this time?' and he just goes 'Nope!' *nom*

Thankfully he is cute

Hopefully next year I will get a Boa Hypo mix and she looks like toffee, so pretty and curious lady

Now, let me see your reptiles!
Lizards, snakes, spiders or whatever exciting you might have :D

Don't have recent photos but we have a Western rn Hognose 🥰 had a few Bps as well but we ended up becoming more interested in the hognoses and lizards.  If we end up adding anymore snakes it's gonna be more hogs and or a boelens python and FWC.  😍 As far as spoods, haven't owned one yet but would love to get a grammostola pulchra. 🖤

I wish I could own a ball python but my parents are afraid of snakes. Especially in the case of ball pythons, in my opinion there is nothing to fear

Education and exposure is a great tool for helping with that! Take em to a reptile show! Theirs also lots of great YouTubers you can watch with her for exposure.

there are TONS of reptiles/amphibians living in my house (my mom has 8 snakes plus several lizards and frogs, all in a variety of species)

BUT I have one too! he's a crestie named Oberon :3 (3nd pic featuring my mom's corn snake Tahla)

He's still young, I adopted him as a teeny sickly baby but now he's got some good size and a healthy appetite on him! His enclosure has been my first experiment with a bioactive vivarium, too, which has been interesting.

I also have a colony of powder blue isopods that help out as a cleanup crew in Oberon's tank! I know they aren't herps but they feel related enough to share some (pretty bad) pictures of too lol

Nekkoya I really think  you should show your mother a few videos about balls to your mother, because I really think they are the best beginner snake you can get. Just because they are so harmless and grow to a nice size! ^^
Can they bite? Yes it happens but that's 9/10 when you are feeding or they think you are bringing food.
Skadi bit me today when i was feeding and it didn't feel anything.
Usually lack of information is behind the fear for snakes.  ^^
