Chased Wolf Spotting!!!

Posted 2022-08-07 20:30:28 (edited)
@Hollysplash - that's very true, and I feel the same way! I was thinking something explicitly saying that posting rechased wolves is allowed?

I'd also like to discourage people from being really mean about wolves they think are disappointing for one reason or another, but that's just a personal pet peeve of mine haha

edit: @JuneJuniper yes yes fully agreed with your last point!!

@June I didn't even realize some people were saying things like that ;( It would hurt my feelings if someone said that about my wolves :') (I'm also a softie tho LOL)

i agree that ghost's rules are good place to start.

i also agree with keeping ugly and the poop emoji out of the thread. not everyone can chase beautiful wolves , befriended beautiful chased wolves.

Yes please. When people are like LOOK AT THE HORRIBLE WOLF I FOUND WHY WOULD ANYONE CHASE THAT

It's hurtful to whoever did chase them. Everyone chases what they can.

@Karma I know!!! I saw a poop a while back, and it wasn't one of mine but it kinda broke my heart. Like I hope they don't see that, whoever chased them. R&C is hard, and expecting people to do it a certain way… after awhile I feel like you get into grooming territory… you start to make people try to play this game a certain way, a way YOU like… Nope. Not good.

@June ugh that's horrible >.< I just joined WD and the R&C community and I'm trying to yeet T2s with nice markings and T3/T* out there but I/we can only breed so many :') And we only get so many heats and I'm sure everyone breeds pups they want to keep too.

Anyways, I Have An Idea About A Rule

Is About That Thing Of People Who Send Fake Proof Only Because They Want A Wolf Or How Slothie Said Users Sending offer for wolves that are under market value Or Just People Tricking Newbies.

The Rule Would Be That If You Reply To Any Post This Must Be In The Thread And Not By A PM

Just To Make Sure That No One Is Trying To Trick Or Scam Someone.

And Also Another Idea Of A Rule To Avoid Missinformation Would Be That If Someone Asks Something In The Thread But You Are Unsure Of The Question You Must Ask Someone With Enough Experience Or Just Wait For Someone Else To Answer

Edit: Oh And Also Sorry For Replying Late

Then it's going to become a super chatty thread again which is a problem.

I think it's better we just give them advice on fair pricing in the main post.

1. Post a forum thread asking for pricing
2. Ask on a discord server for pricing
3. Post your wolf for offers and let them fairly offer

Yeah for sure !!

And with rules about found wolves, I think people posting wolves should be encouraged to also state their boundaries/intentions (not sure how to word it)

Like, for example, someone posts a wolf they found and say "Just found this wolf! I plan on keeping them unless the chaser would like to have them back" or "Just found this wolf, I don't want to keep them so they will be up on tc after cooldown, if the chaser wants them back just DM me and I will gladly give them back to you for free. If anyone in this thread is interested feel free to DM me to ask about them" or similar things.

I feel that would really help since then people can know the availability of the wolf or if they can message the poster and what-not
