Yes, I do love when that happens.  I chased a 2 star at 2 years hoping it would reroll stats better for someone. I don't know if they have been found yet.
I've also kept quite a few rechased that had wonderful stat rerolls, like Toasty boy and got one from Shadowfaux who is my herbalist who finds all the recipes!  Gaze is best boy.
