Jewel got up with a yawn

Cardon waited for her by the entrance

Jewel walked over and stretched

Cardon smiled " Alright, Jewel follow me. your training will begin today" he walked slowly towards a clearing

Jewel followed him

Cardon then taught her everything there was to know about hunting and  protecting herself. They spent hours training. 

Jewel mimicked him perfectly

Cardon then looked at her " i think thats enough training for now, its late and you must be tired. Come on back tot he den. You can tell your mother about the training. But this wont be the only time training will be. Its going to be be every day, day and night."

Jewel nodded seeming full of energy. She whipped her gaze side to side

Cardon chuckled "go on back home Jewel.. imma head out to go hunt something"
