hey so I tried the lioden styled <img src="" alt="" /> 

and then also the lil pictureframe on they typing board but images just dont show up

It works for me, so maybe you did something wrong in code? Are you sure you write it in "code view" mode (background of input field should be dark, not white)? Can you insert images by tool (icon of photo on toolbox)?
