Trade market: Option to set a countdown to removal of your offer

Hello to anyone reading! :D

I have an idea. When making an offer on a trade I think it would be nice to be able to set a countdown for how long you want your offer to be valid.

”This offer is valid for x more hours/days.”

When the countdown is done the offer is automatically removed.

A feature like this would give the buyer some more power on the trade market as the seller would have to make a decision to either accept the offer, or let it run out and hope for a new better offer.

It would be optional to add a countdown on your offer, if you want your offer to be valid forever simply don’t use the countdown feature.

Right now it is possible to remove an offer, however, you cannot ”warn” the seller that you plan on doing so, meaning they have no chance to take a final look on the offer.

To implement a feature like this would require some coding.

Yeah I support this, I don't usually make offers but I'd also hate to have to wait 10 years in hopes the seller comes on and accepts.

I support this as well! I lose offers way too easily when left for multiple days. This feature would also be pretty useful for sellers as well. They could choose to post a trade for a shorter amount of time than the default trade time limit.
