Craft Nesting Material Based on Uses

Craft Nesting Material Based on Uses
Posted 2020-11-25 09:16:34 (edited)

I would really like it if we were crafting Nesting Material based on the number of uses for items instead of just item count. It just doesn't make sense to me to have to spend 10 items of 5 uses each and get the same result as spending 10 items of 1 use each, especially since the 1 use items that are most prevalent are herbs, which we already need for something else. The current system just feels very disproportionate :/

Edit to clarify: I realized I left this part out of my original post XD I am fine with it being 10 uses instead of what it was on Lioden, but I feel it should be uses, not items. Hope that makes sense!

Support! I don't like that nesting material needs 10 items/uses, either, I really wish they hadn't raised that from Lioden's 6 items/uses.

I understand them bumping up the amount a little, but the fact that it's 'Items' and not 'Uses' drives me bonkers XD

This, but with all crafting, and not just nesting material. Especially now that the new decor recipes are out. It would make things a lot more efficient, and remove the frustrating tedium of having to use up the other uses on an item so you don't waste them just for crafting. Which you can't even always do, since there's no real way to make use of amusement items if all of your wolves are at 100% mood.

This!! I've been bringing bones down to 1 use for preparation for recipes and it just feels silly. Don't want to waste uses of feathers to make nesting material when those extra uses could make the crafting more efficient (without making it functionally different, since there's nothing stopping you from bringing the feathers to 1 use before you craft with them).

I agree. Crafting based off use would be better imo

This makes sense! Support. I have to resort to use "fodder" herbs on nests, just because I don't want to waste feathers with lots of potential amusement uses.

I am fine with the amount I would support a lot of it was on uses not item count

I support it being the number of uses vs the item. It makes more sense.
