help with nav.bar icons

Hello everyone

So I have been having no end of grief with the navibar icons for my Den page. I have been successful in changing their color through.

.navbar-main .fa:before {color: rgb(13, 32, 48, 0.8) !important}

However, changing the hover colour has not been successful no matter what I do. Any help with how to go about it?

You can use this selector to change color of icons generally:
#header .navbar-main .nav-link .fa
And this one to change color of it on hover (over link):
#header .navbar-main .nav-link:hover .fa
