Total Shuffle Question

So, I'm tempted to buy the total shuffle item because I'm a sucker for surprises and random things.. but I figured I should clarify, does this put a random marking into the slots where a wolf ALREADY has a marking, or does it fill all ten slots? I would hate to spend the GC on it and only get 1 random marking without realizing it. 

I'll still probably use one eventually.. just wanna know if it would be worth it now or if I should save it for later. :3

It wipes all existing markings. So yes, you get 10 different markings in the slots. :)

Yeah I read that part, I just wasn't sure if it only filled the slots that previously had markings or all 10 slots get markings.
