Hunting Party Help?

Hello! Still learning some of the basics but Inwas wondering if anyone can tell me how to make a good hunting party? What kind of wolves work well together in a party? 

hi! the most important thing is personality compatibility - aggressive and friendly personalities don't get along, and stoic and romantic personalities don't get along. I personally have two hunting parties, one for "unfriendly" personalities aggressive and stoic and one for "friendly" personalities romantic and friendly. you could also mix aggressives/romantics and friendlies/stoics, and you can always buy a personality change if you have your heart set on a wolf with the wrong personality for your party!

other than that, the main factor for a good hunting party is consistency. try to lock in your hunting party as soon as possible, and try not to make any changes to an established party in fall or winter because you lose a significant amount of synergy every time you make a change to the lineup. if you're able to check in enough times a day to get all 10 of their daily hunts completed, you'll see the fastest progress (although no matter how perfectly you do this it still takes time!).

also, I would recommend picking a stalker you really like and a finisher with higher stats. this is because your stalker's proficiency determines the size of the prey trails you find (so replacing your stalker means at least 2-3 days of exclusively critters/smalls). I recommend a higher statted finisher because even at 100% proficiency my finishers are probably the thing that cause a failed hunt most often, despite having similar stats to my chasers. much like stalkers, finishers are a pain to switch out, so try to lock in one you're content with early on. you get 3 chasers, so switching one out isn't the end of the world (especially if you have two high proficiency chasers doing the legwork).
