Fella's smol cheap-dopts [closed]

the shading on the base is very heavy and drastically overtakes the colors, it's part of the style. the base's colors underneath are directly picked and as accurate as possible to the wolf's colors, but with the hard shading on top it can change quite a lot. 

as these are very cheap adopts I try not to make them as close as I can to the wolf while not spending too much time and exhausting myself from making these, I also do not save each finished piece's psd file. so if I were to edit something it would be a bit difficult. to me the result looks just like sparrow, he is a rather dark wolf at least imo, but I guess I could lighten sparrow's image if you really want. it would lose some color and I'm honestly not really sure if it'll work or what else I could do to alter it.. 

here I have lightened the outer edges of the image just enough to not lose too much color, not sure if it's better or not? up to you. I could do the same to silver's, but it would lose a lot of color in comparison.

other than that I can't really do much. I could redo it but honestly it would look the same as I don't know what else I would do differently, as I said; the colors underneath the shading is (to my eye) just like the original wolf's.

I'm sorry but, I just don't know what to do.. these are supposed to be quick and cheap adopts, usually people are just fine with the results. ; ;

Ok, no worries! I actually really do like the result, it's just a little darker than what I see when I look at the game image, but if this is the style and process for these then that's fair! Don't go to any additional trouble.

oh no worries! when I order art I tend to visualize in my mind exactly what the end result will be, which oftentimes leaves me dissatisfied with the actual end result.. it's something I try to stop doing haha. all in all I get ya, don't stress about it! ^^

(doesn't help that the eye base is a very old base of mine, if I had done it today I would have done it very differently. I still might make a new version, but that would take a lot of time and it most likely wouldn't be as cheap..)
