“That isn’t what I’m worried about. I enjoy the challenge.” She sat down and looked around at the beautiful place taking a deep breath. “It is beautiful here.” She agreed.

" You like it? yeah.. i come here if i want time alone from the others.." he say  birds flying and squirrels chasing each other down below. The wind blowing towards them and Z  sniffed the air. " We cant stay long... " he snarled not at her but at the smell

Adelite could pick up on what Z smelled but it seemed far away. “Okay, I guess.” She was quiet for a bit. “Can I ask you something?”

" You can ask me anything, Adelite" Z said walking them back tot he bed " whats on your mind"

Adelite bit her tongue and decided to not ask her original question. Instead she said “Do you still like Kassie?”

" You could say that.. but shes my leader.. so I really dont know..." Z said finally reaching the den and layed down panting. Clearly tired.

“Are wolves not allowed to be with their leader? Why does it matter?” She asked, tilting her head.

" Ive known her for a very long time, Ad... but shes  has talked with me about  her and I being together and told me it wouldnt work out.. but maybe for you it might.. I.. dont know" Z said looking at her with sleepy eyes " she does seem to like you a bit"

Adelite looked at him, sadness building in her chest at the impossibility of the situation. She blinked surprised at Z's comment but shrugged it off. "Yea I guess I'm just a good pack mate or something."

Z  sighed " Its not that I dont like her.. I just dont think im mate material right now.." then looked away "here comes Kass"
