"How do I even begin to answer," she sighed, sitting next to him. For once it seemed, being next to another wolf was comforting. "I'm so tired but I can't even begin to relax. How are you doing?" she said, licking his muzzle.

Z gave her a gentle lick on her face " im doin ok.. I cant believe kassies gonna leave for god soon.. shes been such a good leader... and a wonderful mother figure to me" he sighed before continuing on " But Sunshine is gonna do her best to keep the pack in line just like kassie had

“Yea...” Adelite sighed. “Do you know how long she has left?” She laid down and rested her head on her paws.

" No.. but shes staying strong, no matter what" Z said looking at Adelite " I know you liked her.. but everything has a cycle . Death is  just another leap in a new life"

(shes 6 years 7 months right now)

Z looked at her in amazement " I belong in that pack, Adelite. I.. I have a role that I must serve. But I wont ever forget you. Ever. I promise you that Ill  come and see you when I am not on duty"

He then stood up and stretched before hearing a howl " Thats Lust... I gotta go. I love you Adelite"

And with that, he ran off back tot he new territory

Adelite turned and walked back to the tree she stayed at last night. She wished that they hand more time to talk about it. She never thought that she would want the presence of another wolf.

Z went over to the new territory and layed down, thinking out Adelite's off. "  I cant... " he told himself " But I will visit her every chance I get" 

Adelite was so tired from not sleeping that she drifted off until mid-day. When she woke up her legs and back were stiff and sore. Her scratches burned.

Kassie slept pretty must all day the next morning. Slowly getting weaker. But still holding on.

Z went off to go hunt for the pack in the new territory, hoping to not see the pack they saw from the previous day.
