Your taste sounds a lot like mine! Here are a few entries.

Black eyed beauty. Black and red cover for maximum combo marking chances.

The same look but with a different marking order emphasizing the ticking.

White eyed stunner. This one is fully grayscale.

Here I three designs I decided to do. Tried to make most of them have certain stand out points and highlights of some sort(not the marking but just kinda a pop of color) Overall designs are pretty soft and have some red/brownish tones.

Tried to get some distinct facial markings here.
