Hunting Efficiency

Is it true that if you make a third hunting party, it reduces the efficiency of the other two? That's what somebody thinks, but I thought it might just be getting harder to hunt because of winter. Sorry if this is not the right section. 

That's not true. I have four hunting teams. Winter just greatly decreases the odds of success.
