Crindle Pack Lore

"The Lead is to be respected. Like a god of sorts. His word is our command. If we obey it, we get Sanctuary. We get food, water, and shelter. All we have to do is serve the pack" ~Rin

Pack members choose their names. But the Lead chooses their job, their rank in the pack. 

Being a Hunter is an honor, for you work to feed the pack. The pack must be fed for it to prosper. 

The wolves chosen for pupsitter duty are only the most trusted wolf in the eyes of the Lead's mate. 

The Healer is the most trusted by the entire pack. 

And the Scout is the eyes and ears of the pack in unknown lands. 

But the Lead, the Lead is the heart, soul, and voice of the pack. 

Not every wolf allowed into the pack lands is chosen to stay. There are many reasons why a chosen no-pack will be kicked back out. 

Fighting, lack of respect, and breaking the rules of the pack are common reasons. 

But only one is punishable by death. Bringing pups into the pack that are not from the Lead's blood. 

"The only pups that walk these lands are my own. And they are to be treated like royalty". ~Crindle 

There is one den in the pack lands. And it belongs to Krista and her pups. 

Other members sleep outside in piles of leaves and dead grass. 

Untrusted wolves sleep in nests far away from the pack. This is to prevent this new wolf from turning the others against the pack, or spreading infection. 

Members that break smaller rules will spend a month sleeping away from the pack's protection, as they have lost the trust of the pack. 

Breaking the rule twice will result in them being sold to some other pack (if lucky), or being chased away from the pack land.

The pups of the Leads: 

Crindle: Inka, Nika, Astra, Nassu, and Saber

 -Established Rules of Crindle Pack-

1. Only the Leader, mate, or Beta and mate can have pups

2. Only the Lead, their mate, and offspring can reside in the Leader's Den 

3. One pup of any gender will be chosen by the Lead to take over when they die. The chosen wolf will not be given any other task until they take over

4. If there are too many pups in a litter for the current territory, only the amount that fits in the territory will be kept. Others will be traded to another pack or chased as adolescents

5. Pupsitter is not a permanent task and can be given to any wolf deemed trustworthy enough to watch the pups (usually the older offspring of the Lead) 

6. Leads and their mate will stay together until one dies. If the mate dies the Lead just appoints a new mate. If the Lead dies the chosen takes over and appoints a new mate 

7. The Lead is not allowed to kill prey unless famine makes it necessary 

8. Breaking of any of these rules is punishable by being chased or traded. Depending on the severity of the allegations 

9. Newly chosen members will sleep away from the other wolves and have no name until they prove themselves to have a skill

10. Any wolves can be pair bonded. As long as they don't breed. 

11. If the Lead and their mate can not produce puppies, the Lead can appoint a relative to have pups for them. But they must be related to the Lead. 

12. Pairs between relatives is strictly forbidden 

13. Any wolves sick with a communicable disease must stay away from the rest of the pack

14. A Beta will be chosen once for the pack. Their first born of the Beta will take over as Beta. 

15. If a Beta does not have any pups, then a pup of the Lead will take over as Beta
