Oh, nice!!

Hi everyone! Though we still have 2 more red fox pelts to go before the base can be applied, Hush has been made into my breeding male.

You may each, as of now, start take advantage of your refunded traditional breedings if you wish!

Just a few notes about this though: 

1. Hush hasn't yet been customized (I'm waiting to see the lunar shoppe markings, and I intend to give him either Violet eyes, or the Special eyes of the next lunar term!), and the base hasn't yet been applied, so he still in his basic form. However, he is still a rare G2 albino, so you are welcome to begin breeding your wolves to him now for the chance of producing a valuable low-gen mutant or mutation carrier!
2. By beginning to take advantage of your refunded breedings, you agree that you can no longer request the return of the fox items you have given me for the purpose of creating the fox base. As soon as you start claiming refunded breedings, whatever items you gave me for this thread will now permanently belong to me so that I can use them to apply the fox base, and cannot be reclaimed.
3. Please note that I have limited territory slots so it will take time to shuffle wolves around, but I will do my best to get your wolves back to you as soon as their trade cooldown ends. <3

If you'd like to take advantage of your refunded breedings now, just send me the things typical of a traditional breeding: 

1. the female with her wolf name or footnote indicating your ID number,
2. as well as 1 Instant Birth Feather (IBF)
3. and 1 nesting material

Was it always only refunded traditional breedings?

I don't have 5GC for an IBF every time.

Traditional breedings involve an IBF so that you can get your wolf back in the same rollover!

If you can't afford an IBF, I don't mind housing your wolf in my pack until she gives birth :) I would just ask that you provide some food items or a multi-use food item and amusement items to cover her needs while she's with me. When I have surplus, I'll feed/play with the female, but I can't always guarantee I'll have the items for that (especially in winter). 

If you don't want to go the IBF route, just PM me beforehand (i.e. before sending a trade) so I can get back to you on whether I'll have the space to hold the pregnant female for that duration, since I may have wolves aging up in that window. I'm working on getting the SC to expand my territory, so this will be more of an option when I have that :)

Will I need to do traditionals for hunters/herbalists? Just wondering because of the synergy/medicines learned cost that comes with removing those roles :)

Thankfully the loss of proficiency in roles should be very limited since they'd only lose a percent amount corresponding to not working the role for 1 RO (if you go the IBF route). Regarding the herbalists and hunters (since they have more complex hits), I'll PM you, Shadow! :)

For everyone's reference, you're welcome to use a stud slot instead, so long as you're able to send me a +2 GC cost to refresh that slot after breeding. I'll refund you the stud cost, but not the +2 GC cost (because I have to use that to refresh the slot). 

Trust me, as a smaller user myself, I know the 5 GC cost for an IBF makes me cringe every time I know I could stand to wait for a natural birth, LOL. So if you want the pups immediately, you can go the traditional breeding path (nesting material + IBF). But if you can't afford the IBF, you can send me a stud request with 2 GC added, and I'll refund you all but the 2 GC needed to refresh the slot :)

EDIT: Shadow kindly informed me that there is a 15 slot-refreshment limit, so I can offer the slot refreshment option up to 15 times a week total across everyone who chooses to use that. :) If my stud slot refreshment is all out, please consider sending a traditional breeding instead!
