Shade sighed deeply closing his eyes a moment before opening them again. He quietly ran his fingers through his shaggy hair. He was definitely uneasy now.

Lydia settled down, pulling out her small journal. She began to draw some small things she spotted, small animals flitting past her, the waves below. She stopped after a while, leaning back to watch the open ocean around them.

Shade just stared up at the sky."Honestly I don't know why I thought this was a good idea in the first place..." he muttered quietly to the sky

A splash of water erupted from the water and Lydia lit the lamp. A whale emerged and she leaned back again. Yep. This is boring. Don't fall asleep though or you'll wake up tomorrow morning burnt. She thought to herself.

Shade was now near the side watching the water he sighed 

Lydia spotted another crew member and waved him over. "Can you take this? I took it yesterday, and offered to help Timmy out until I found another person." After a few minutes of discussion, Lydia climbed down and shifted, heading to her cat quarters near her own roost. It had hay and blankets and was surprisingly comfy.

Shade stayed out by the side of the ship sighing deeply 

Lydia fell asleep pretty quickly.

The sun rose over the horizon and Lydia looked up from her book. The captain, Amarial, walked over to her. "Hey Lydia. You told Timmy to alert me of an unregistered shifter? Cat shifter?" He asked and Lydia nodded. "Yeah, Shade Grim or something. Confirmed it last night. I asked him a few questions but apparently he's too shy to speak."
