The new quest snake...

If you've played Lioden, you'll know Murphy the quest snake. 

"Affectionately" named after Murphy's Laws, he gives out quests for common items, and even hunts you see frequently... but the second you accept his quests, Lions of lioden swear he makes the items you need for his quests non-existent, rare and difficult to find. For hunts it's even worse! "My lionesses hunted 5 zebras in a row, but the second Murphy wants them to hunt another one, they just stop existing in their tiles!" One lion reported... but how is Murphy's cousin on here on Wolvden?

Is the snake here kinder? The hunts are a bit easier as the Snake doesnt seem to request specific prey hunts (as far as I've seen.) Do items seem to randomly vanish when you accept a quest for them or is there much difference?

What are your experiences with the quest snake so far? And more importantly... what do we call them?

From my experience, is he kinder? No...

He is nice to you for a little while, asking more simple things, like items or to fight a few of a certain animal, maybe some successful hunts, and now he has been very mean XD My hunting parties were doing very well and then he asked for 9 successful hunts... now I barely get two successes in a day lol

I have no idea what to call him though.

Perhaps he shares the same mischief as his cousin.

Its been kind to up until yesterday, now it caught on my hunting party can actually catch things.

I've been calling her Cordelia in my head? Cannot explain why though.

He's been fairly nice to me... of course now that I say that he's going to turn around and demand me for all my Golden Pinecones lmao

Interesting... so now she's messing with Hunting parties... come to think of it mine wasn't doing very well today either, but I at least think I can get them done across 2 days, unlike Murphy's hunt quests... I can never complete those in the given time ; ;

As for the name, I like it but I'm hoping for something as fun as Murphy, kind of an inside joke thing... not too obvious but a chuckle from those that "get it."

I've been calling him Newton, fyi!

As for whether or not he's kind, I'm a little on the fence. he keeps asking for specific prey and herbs, but usually the herbs are 'rare' or I don't have the biome unlocked, or the prey mysteriously disappears... hm.

I think we should call him Benny, named after Benedict Arnold.

I mean the snake starts out nice or 'on our side' you might say with easy quests, but for some reason(boredom or an overpowering need to make us suffer) he's on Murphy's side via traitorous evil quests with hard or impossible goals.

But this is just an idea fueled by being half awake and sipping coffee,lol.

Snake has been nice to me. I got no names, but I have gotten pretty easy quests. If I can't find the carcasses he wants, they're usually cheap on the trade center. Recently it's been battling quests which have been easy, except for the mustelids quest, that was painful. But so far I've had minimal difficulties. 

So far I've had no trouble, but yesterday he wanted 7 successful hunts and I was BARELY able to get 7 done with my single hunting party. I haven't had items disappear but I've only gotten three item quests and the one item i didn't have immediately upon accepting the quest was an item i always seem to Raccoon
