Ripple/splash sound when a ripple appears

I know a lot of people, including me, like to keep the fishing tab on the background or just not staring at it constantly. It would be nice that when a fish appears there's a like 'plop' or splash noise to indicate that a ripple has appeared and that I should check the tab.

I don't think it takes away the difficulty of it, as you still have to find where the ripple is and actually catch it, just acts as a sort of alert.

The noise would either have to be different enough from the water background noise like a loud splash to be distinguished. Or maybe not even a splash, a pleasant ding or something.

I think also there should be the option to toggle it as I know that some people like to just have it on in the background for the relaxing water sounds so a loud plop or ding could be startling.

Actually, this does already happen! ^^ It's like a repeated splashing sound I believe

@naturalharmony, mhm! Well, I was wrong about it being a splash sound, it's actually like aaa, what do you call it? Kind of like when you go under water suddenly? I just went to make sure in the game. It plays a few times over until the ripple goes away 

Edit: I support making it clearer, tho, cause people that can't hear as well might miss it, especially if you ain't wearing headphones! 

There already is a splashing noise, but I notice when it rains it becomes almost impossible to hear it. So, I would also recommend they make weather toggleable, or the splash more distinguishable, or both.
