Disclaimer: I know this is a nitpick, but I gotta suggest it anyway. I love the ambience of the fishing game, but there are a few plinkplonk sound effects (when you catch or fail to catch a fish) that somewhat damage the immersion. I suggest changing (or adding a "natural sound" option to toggle) these effects to something that matches the rest of the ambience, like another kind of splash or a brief wolf-whine, or some such. |

I was actually thinking of something similar, I hope it's ok to post on this thread: an option to toggle on and off the extra sound effects (failed catch, successful catch, releasing a fish, submitting, ripple appearing sound) vs the ambient water music. The loud sounds when I succeed in a catch really throw me off each time, especially since I tend to turn up the water for an ambient sound that is very pleasant. Since these sounds always happen on specific occasions, I'm hoping it wouldn't be too complicated to code as an extra option? Also mods, if this is too far from the original idea and I should make a separate thread please tell me! |

I'd like to bump this game development idea. I've wished there was a way to turn off the game sound effects while keeping the ambience sounds, since the game was released. Especially since I tend to play it at night. Figured others would also feel the same way so I never made a post, but it's almost April now, so thought I'd throw my opinion in here too and get it seen. |
