How many stats are needed for the glacier?

I'm just curious.  I unlocked it awhile ago, but none of my scouts have high enough stats to actually scout it.  My oldest scout is a few rollovers from the time when wolves start passing away, at least to my understanding.  And my other is nowhere near her stats. 

So should I invest in trading for a higher statted scout or keep re-scouting my male until he gets to a high enough level/stats to explore the glacier section? 

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Rescouting the Riparian Woodland will also boost their wisdom.
