Calling anyone and everyone that dares to live in the Taiga. I’m looking to move my pack to a more challenging biome but I’m not sure if I should be looking at moderate or difficult. While I could just move my pack a few times to see what works (and let’s be real I probably will) I need to wait for all my pups to grow up and go away so I have the fewest mouths to feed as possible and in the mean time I figured I could reach out for some elusive info. I’m trying to decide if my hunters are ready to take on the Taiga. Any info about your hunting party and their success would be very appreciated! The most helpful however would be something like: Stalkers Wisdom + Smarts - Chasers Speed + Agility (Number of chasers or individual wolves) - Finishers Strength - Parties Current Synergy - Possible Trails (Critter to Large) - General Success Rate |

👋 Taiga pack here! Moved at the start of the year and I have two hunting parties: one is slowly cycling through some of my oldest wolves (and is currently down a member on account of death with the next in line still young, RIP); the second includes two level 20 ex-scouts. Both parties take down critter trails regularly, and sometimes small trails; the first stalker has been unable to find anything higher, and neither could the second—until the end of the month, when medium trails started appearing infrequently. They’ve still only successfully caught one to date, though. I probably can’t recommend this biome to anyone with a large pack and/or who doesn’t have time to explore regularly to compensate, assuming stats around my wolves’; my pack mostly lives off peccary carcasses and the stray chunk. But at 15 adults tops and usually not many pups, I find I have a surplus of food every other day anyway, and the EXP boosts are very nice.
*All 100% proficiency. No general success rate because I haven’t crunched the numbers, but see above, where trails were also mentioned :o Hope this helps! |

I also live in the Taiga. I keep my pack small because I run a shop and because I don't want to overload myself. I ALWAYS have way more food than I need, even with my shop. With all this said, I have two teams of hunters. My main team and "apprentices". My main team finds medium trails, small trails, and critter trails. When it comes to capturing prey they almost always manage to grab critters, almost always get small prey and medium prey they get like 40% of the time. My apprentice team only gets trails up to small, however, they regularly capture both critter and small prey. The main team has 100% synergy and 100% proficiency. The apprentice team has ~85% synergy with everyone at 100% proficiency except for one Chaser (they're the apprentice team because I cycle out members fairly often so I can try to build it up with the best stats to eventually replace my main team). STATS Main Team: chasers
finisher
