Do not post, thank you! Hello, and welcome to Mountain Sky Pack's gamelog and lore thread. I think it'll be fun to track how my pack is doing over time, and I love writing rich, in-depth lore! I decided to combine the two into one thread, this glorious(?) amalgamation of tracking what I do in-game and the everyday lives of the wolves of Mountain Sky. Current Lead: Kiyaya |

Kiyaya
A young wolf who set out alone to start her own pack. She's bold and ambitious, but awkward and shy when talking to other wolves. Linden Another young wolf, the child of a loner. He's a wanderer and adventurer, enjoying being able to run free. Kaluso A slightly older wolf, who used to wander with Sarvin. He's a gentle, caring sweetheart who has a way with pups. Sarvin A loner at heart, who used to travel with Kaluso. He's quiet and solitary, having formed his own hunting party so he can stay away from camp. Eskele An adolescent wolf who was found shivering near camp. She's sweet, if shy and very self-conscious. Himiye A pup who was discovered in the mountains, abandoned. Kaluso took her back to camp and warmed her up, and she seems to be enjoying life with the group. Shinka A peppy she-wolf who happily joined the group when she met Kiyaya. She's joined Sarvin's hunts, and they do well together despite his protests. Apisi A reliable adolescent who met Eskele and decided to join her. She looks and seems male, but insists that she's female. No one really understands this, but they go along with her- there's no harm in doing so. Chikori A curious-looking she-wolf who came up to Kiyaya with her sister Amiki, asking if she could join the group. She was accepted in, and took a place on Sarvin's hunting party. Amiki Chikori's older sister, looking just as unique, who joined the group with her. She decided to become a scout instead of a hunter like Chikori. |

About My Pack (Not Lore/Canon) Welcome to my pack, Mountain Sky! This pack is based in the mountains, and is made up of natural-colored wolves. Mountain Sky will stay relatively small, and will mostly be made up of NBWs and their descendants. I'll try to stay NIB, but if an inbred wolf was both bought by me instead of bred and doesn't have any inbreeding on the first page, I'll dismiss it. All of my wolves will have lore (but don't quite yet), check their bios to learn more about them. If you have any questions about lore PM me, I'll gladly answer them! |

Pack Law 1. A wolf may never kill one of their packmates, unless defending themselves. 2. Adult wolves must work to earn their keep- whether by bringing home food, exploring new lands, crafting medicines for the pack, or protecting the pups. 3. Young wolves and their mothers will be fed before adults. They are the future of the pack and need to be cared for so the pack can stay strong. 4. Wolves should mate for life. Unless one wolf dies or leaves the pack prematurely, it is forbidden to break a bond and get a new mate. If a wolf's mate has died, they must take a period of time to grieve before considering another mate. 5. Wolves are forbidden to mate with their relatives. This is unclean and would degrade the well-being of the pack, so it cannot be tolerated. 6. Excluding the breeding wolf, wolves with mates should not breed with wolves who are not their mate. This of course does not apply to bonded wolves that cannot mate with each other, but otherwise wolves should be faithful to their mates. |

Mountain Sky Camp Large Cave Protected From Wind: The largest of the caves, a deep break in the mountainside mostly covered by a boulder. The hunters live here, right near the edge of camp. Cave High on Rock Wall: A smaller cave, only accessible by climbing thin ledges on the rock face. The scouts live here, above the hunters' cave. Overgrown Den in Center of Camp: A medium-sized den, actually the only dwelling that isn't a cave. It acts as the nursery, right in the center of camp. The foliage covering its entrance makes this den the safest and most hidden area in camp. Small Cave Sheltered By Sitkas: A smaller cave, with two sitka spruces bowing over its entrance. The adolescent trainees live here, to the right of the nursery. Isolated Cave on Edge of Mountain: A medium-sized cave, right outside of camp. Any guests of the pack will sleep here. |

Part One: Kiyaya, just newly an adult, has left her parents' small pack to forge her own home. The young she-wolf is filled with ambition and wanderlust, leaving her old home in the old pine forest and ascending the mountains. When dusk begins to fall she stops in a secluded area, curling up inside a cave to wait out the rising storm she smells on the wind. The next morning she wakes to the scent of dewy grass, stretching her lean, strong limbs and exiting her impromptu den. She begins to see how this corner of the mountain could become a fine camp, spotting natural caves and dens all along the rock face. The area would be easily protectable in an attack, and there seems to be plenty of space for a group of wolves to roam. She makes a note of the location, before moving on to explore the area. - While exploring, Kiyaya comes across a dark tan wolf, calling himself Linden. She quickly convinces the young male to join her pack, showing him back to 'camp' before continuing on her journey. - Kiyaya subsequently comes across two more males traveling together, Kaluso and Sarvin. Kaluso seems intrigued about joining the female and Linden, but he has to convince Sarvin to come along. - While the three wolves are returning to camp, Kaluso spots a bedraggled-looking young wolf, barely out of her puppy months. His nurturing instincts take over, and he doesn't have much trouble convincing the adolescent, Eskele, to join the ragtag band of wolves. - After a long day of exploring, the mountain wolves settle down to rest. Each sleeps with one eye open, not quite trusting their companions yet. Part Two: After living together for a short period of time the group has started to trust each other more, working together almost like a pack. Linden has actually talked to Kiyaya about forming the group into a pack, and she assures him she'll think on the matter. - A young pup has joined the group, who her guardian Kaluso has named Himiye. She's settled in well, seeming not to remember life outside the group. - Another wolf has come to Kiyaya's group, a yellowish she-wolf named Shinka- bright in both coat and personality. Despite Sarvin's protests, she has joined him in hunting- their small group has been dubbed Silver Peak Runners after their preferred hunting area. - Kiyaya has been thinking quite a bit about finally turning the group into a pack, and has had a meeting with the other adults about their feelings on the matter. Overall, the wolves are excited about or at least would tolerate this major lifestyle change. Part Three: Kiyaya has declared that the group will become a pack, but there's much work that needs to be done. Laws need to be made, caves and dens need to be furnished, territory needs to be marked, and, most importantly, the future pack needs a name. - Another wolf has joined the group, an adolescent named Apisi. Despite looking and sounding male she insists on being a female, which confuses the other wolves. They still honor her choice though- what harm does it do to any of them?
- Spring is in the air, and the soon-to-be pack is excited for warmer weather. Kiyaya says if they're ready, the group will officially become a pack on the first day of spring. - Two more wolves has joined the pack, the interesting-looking sisters Chikori and Amiki. Many wolves are wary of their strange eyes, but they assure them they're completely healthy and won't hurt anybody. Shinka immediately likes the two, inviting them to join her and Sarvin to hunt-Chikori says yes! Her older sister says she doesn't enjoy hunting much, and instead decides to take the role of scout. |

Year 1 - After many days of preparing the camp, Kiyaya has announced from a ledge high on the rock-face that the group is officially a pack. She has named the newly-founded pack Mountain Sky, after the majestic peaks the pack calls home. |

Year One - Kiyaya's sickness has gotten worse, and it's spread to Linden as well. The pack is worried, fearing their alpha will be incapacitated, as none of them have any experience with herbs. |

Year One - A young male named Cervil has joined the pack after Amiki found him wandering the mountains with a pup in tow. He says his parents' pack was attacked by a larger rival pack, and he and his youngest sister Cylia were the only survivors. They're malnourished and sickly, but begin to recover once they're invited into Mountain Sky. |
