Haldir’s character description

Madison sighed as she walked along the crowded hall of the high school she attended, the cheerleaders were so mean because they knocked her books out of her hands every day and she would have to pick them back up off of the floor.

Haldir... Or.. Luke was walking through the hallway to his first period, which was English. He could feel the eyes of all the girls looking at him and whispering. He knew what they were whispering too.. New hottie alert.. He heard some giggles here and there. He laughed it off and shook his head. He knew he would be getting some kind of attention, but not this much. He let out a deep sigh and was almost to his English class until he saw a group of girls, knock books out of a girls hands. He frowned and looked at them, which of course they gave him a flirty smile. He looked at the water fountain that they were standing by and gave a swish of his hand without anyone looking and water spurted out of the fountain, getting all the cheerleaders drenched in water. He then smiled back at them. “Agh! My makeup is all ruined now!” One of them said dramatically and then they all scurried away. Luke then looked back at the girl with red hair, as she was picking up her book. He smiled at her, “here, let me help,” he said as he helped her pick them up. 

“Thanks I could use some help, this happens to me every day. I should be used to it but I want to punch those cheerleaders in the face but I’ll get into trouble if I do. I think they’re jealous because of my read hair and green eyes but who knows the real reason. Sorry I’m being rude I’m Madison, is this your first day here,” she asked as she saw the guy that was helping her with the spilled books. Little did she know he was an elf and she was part elf but had no idea she was part elf.

(maybe he figures it out that she’s part elf the more time they spend together?)

(That sounds good! Oops, also forgot to add that he has a Quenya accent, it’s not really noticeable in his human form, but people can tell he has some kind of accent but they’re just unsure on what)

Luke laughed as she rambled on, but he listened carefully to her. He was very respectful. “That must be the reason why, I’m sure,” he said to her. He could sense something different about her than most ordinary humans, but he couldn’t tell what it was. He shook off the thought. He smiled at her “Nice to meet you Madison, the names Hi...” He cleared his throat. “Luke,” he said, hoping she wouldn’t hear him say part of his real name. Would it really matter though? No.. Maybe.. He wasn’t too sure. “Yes, today actually is my first day,” he told her. He had really proper English also, that’s how he was raised. “What period are you going to?” He asked her. 

“English, the worst class in the world. Our teacher is strict and has surprise tests it seems like everyday, watch there will be a surprise test today. Come on I’ll show you where our class is, don’t worry you’ll get used to where you’re going. It took me months before a finally got the hang of it, well here we are,” replied Madison as she walked into class, no surprise the same cheerleaders were in the same class as her. She just ignored them and found a spot in the back.

Luke smiled, “oh come on. It can’t be entirely that bad,” he said with a laugh. He nodded and followed her to the class. He sighed when he saw the cheerleaders from earlier. “Oh you can come sit over here.. With us,” one of the girls said and gave him a daring smile. He pressed his lips together in confusion and narrowed his eyes. “No thanks, I’d rather sit over here with Madison,” he said with a smile and sat at the desk right beside her. The teacher smiled, “well hello, you’re new here. You must be Luke Ledger,” she said. He smiled,”yes ma’am, that is my name,” he said politely. 

“You didn’t have to do that Luke, you could’ve sat anywhere you wanted to. I’m ok sitting alone but I’m glad you’re sitting next to me, look the cheerleaders look ticked that you rejected them,” snickered Madison as the cheerleaders sent daggers in her direction.

Luke smiled, “well I would rather sit by a friend,” he told her. He then looked back at the cheerleaders, who quickly fixed their facial expressions. He looked back at Madison and shook his head. “How do you deal with them?” He asked her. If he was in her place, he would’ve already landed a fist in their faces. The teacher walked to the front of the class. “Alright, today we’re going to be learning about the Quenya language,” she said with a smile. Luke then fixed his attention on the teacher when she said his language. She rambled on about some of its past and then opened her book. “Now if y’all will please open your books to page 215 and translate this sentence for me..” She paused before saying the sentence. “Manen are tye síra?” She asked in the language. Luke didn’t even open his book “How are you today?” He translated. The teacher was shocked. “How..” Crap... He thought in his head.
