Yet another desert hunt! This one's noteworthy because it was the first time I saw a small trail, so we might have data on small trail appearances based on Basil's stats...

FINALLY, after months of stat pumping, this morning I found my first medium trail in the swamp!

My sniffer is 514 relevant stats (100% prof 100% team synergy) and this did not happen at a level up, so chances are good 510 is the absolute threshold.

Last night I managed to catch a medium trail in the Tundra (a caribou calf). the experience was rather delicious.

Champagne: 16 (edit he was 15 at the time. didnt level up on this hunt tho)

I can't really give proof, but I live in Priairie and my Stalker with 110+118 stats just gave me a large trail option
