The Pack of Azure Vale Summary The Azure Vale Pack has been around ever since wolves had walked this land. Located in the far western mountains the pack is very secluded and distant from the outside world. Those who have had the honor of running into this pack have noted how shy and yet hostile these wolves are. Some have even spoken of these wolves carrying out odd practices. Despite how bitter they might be to strangers, the wolves of the Azure Vale have been known to be kind and help a surrounding pack or two in times of trouble. The Pack of Azure Vale Territory The Pack of Azure Vale live in an extremely secluded mountain pass northeast of the Coniferous Forest and rarely gets visitors. I actually have very little to say about this, so have a poorly drawn map with some in game art to help people visualize what it looks like

The Pack of Azure Vale Naming Names are very important to this pack and they follow various rules when considering names. For the most part, wolves don't get names until they reach the age of 6 months, when they become and apprentice. The names are given through a naming ceremony (explained in "Rituals and Religion") by either the leader or seer. The names usually follow the format of "The (nature thing or animal)" and with either be related to their looks, job, or personality. Despite the format of their names many don't pronounce the "the" in normal, casual conversation. Since pups don't get names until they become an apprentice, they are usually referred to as "(Descriptive word) one" or "____'s pup". For example, "Hey, yellow one! Pay attention!" Or "Lily's pup follow me!"
Questions and Answers
Q: Does the name ever change?
A: Not for the most part. Unless a wolf is accepted in from another pack the name stays the same within the pack, even if the name might not fit the wolf anymore.
Q: When would you pronouce the "the" in their name?
A: One would generally only pronouce the "the" in an official setting (rituals or ceremonies).
Q: Do wolves get nicknames?
A: Yes, it's pretty common for pups to develop nicknames for each other since they have no names although the pupsitters try to discourage this behavior. Directory | Summary | Territory | Naming |
