Breeding a new T3 line from selene - a project

Alright, so I have this small project I would be happy to talk about.

I, like many others, will be getting the selene base soon. I've decided to put it on my dear and lovely Pumk, a wolf that only the best eyes would recognize she's from my lead's first litter, the one you have to do within your pack. She'll be absolutly ugly with the selene base, but anyway. My goal is to breed her with an other selene to get a new line of T3. To be clear, we don't know yet if it's possible, but I'm willing to give it a try.

My budget is really tight, I have something like 10GC to spare. And right now, the stats aren't looking good for getting a T3 or a selene out of selene parents. I'm hoping to choose selene studs with good stats but no look, and the one who don't have many puppies so the T3 line is as "clean" as possible.

Informations :

- Date of the base changment : 05/03/2021
- Number of litters Pumk can have : ???

Interesting studs :

Kieran : Good stats, good looking, not many pups but Michael Scott line
Ahura the chaser : Good stats, not very bootiful, clean line, not many pups, cheap
Morning songbird : Not good stats, but pretty, not a lot of pups, no big names but inbred
Serenade : Good stats, good looking, only Jay in his genealogy who is a bit popular but not too much.

Litters :

- 1st : Serenade will be the father ! 5 puppies : 2xT1 and 3xT2 (Glaucous, Melchior, Tumbleweed, Arkose, Siqoq) ; Stats range from 390 to 395
- 2nd : will be on the 29/03/2021

I'm not looking specially for help. But if you really want to, you can show me a selene studs that fits my criterias, that would be the best. Or, if you have a private selene stud, we could maybe make something work out that could benefit both of us. I'd prefer if this project stays just in my pack, but I'm open to propositions.

I'm excited to say that the first stud request has been sent ! The breeding male is Serenade. Aso, I've spent a few RMA's and a marking applicator of my Pumk, to make her look abit cuter. I didn't get any rare markings, too bad !

Hey! I'm currently in the process of setting up my own Selene stud and I thought you might be interested! he's got 499 base stats clean lines, is gen 3, and only has one marking (White Merle 100%). I'm also looking to breed some Selenes (and a new T3 if possible 0xo) and I wanted to see if you'd be interested in working with me! I do have a couple requirements but they're nothing too big so if you're interested please lmk!

This is an interesting proposition, however your wolf is a son of Emperor, and I'm kind of scared that this lineage is a bit too frequent. For now, I prefer to work alone, or only with private studs with "rare" lineage : as the selene base was given as an applicator, I am sure to find some new lineage to pick from.

My girl had her puppies ! No T3, no selene, but 3 T2 which is the highest in a litter I ever had x)

I'm going to keep the melchior girl who is very pretty, and sell/raise and chase the other ones as they are still very pretty I think. I'm now looking for my next stud, for the next litter ! I also managed to finish the eye fox recipe (which was one of my main goal), so I'll have a bit more money to put in those breedings.

If you have a selene stud with :

- Good stats (>700)
- Clean genealogy with no big names
- Not very expensive (max 10GC)
- Good looking if it's 10GC (I won't be as difficult if he's low tho)
- Less than 200 puppies, still havn't bred any T3/selene
