Celeste watched the den, staring warily at the two curling up together. Celeste closed her eyes, and, settling deeper into the landscape of the forest, summoned a pale light, illuminating her face. Starfall, her owl, made a quiet twoo and nestled deeper into Celeste's hood, shivering slightly. Celeste tucked Starfall deeper into the hood, covering her with her hair and glanced at the den again, her light fading. She closed her hand, snuffing the light as she shouldered her backpack. She shut her eyes, and shifted into a white wolf. Celeste trotted closer to the den, still keeping out of sight.
