I've been over level 10 for quite some time, and while I find starred NBWs every single day - multiple ones, even - I'm lucky if I find two chased NBWs a month. I don't know if this is a universal experience or it's just my luck, but this doesn't seem right. Since you can find chased wolves starting already at level 10, you'd think they would be more common than starred wolves? Anyhow, given current market interests - especially with T3 chase projects - the desire for chased wolves is growing. It feels like there's not enough chased wolves in the pool to go around. If that's the case, here's my suggestion: Have the chase pool contain a set amount of wolves. Every time someone finds a chased wolf in explore and that wolf is removed from the pool, the next eligible chased wolf is placed into the pool. Alternatively, simply increase the odds of a wolf ending up in the chase pool so that there's enough to go around. I would also suggest that basic NBWs are never eligible for the pool. It's really a bummer to finally encounter a chased NBW only for it to be someone's generic, unchanged NBW. That encounter might as well have been a regular befriend encounter. I don't think they need to be as common as starred NBWs are, though I think with current low-gen interests it would be a banger to find chased wolves more often. |

Support. I'd also like better filtering on chased wolves - a lot of the chased I DO manage to find are obvious recycled NBWs, whereas we only recovered about 1/5th of the T3s chased. I'd like to see a catch net where any T3, T2 even, and anything with 8+ marks is guaranteed to go into the chased pool. Each Chased only gets one showing, so people can refuse/fight any wolf they don't like the look of anyway and the pool won't stay permanently clogged. |

Please, I never get chased wolves despite being past 10 I'd just love for the odds to go up even a little. Cause it's not like wolves don't get chased a bunch? We all have limited space they have to be. I heard apparently pups just get deleted if they're chased, so maybe they should be added to the pool (auto set to adult) if there's not enough chased wolves. |

Definitely support--specifically to increase the odds of chased wolves ending up in the chase pool, and for pups/adols (though this should be a very low chance) to appear. I don't think there should be a 'guaranteed chance' for certain wolves to enter the pool. I do, however, think that NBW-like wolves should be auto-deleted; I.e T1 wolves w/ 0-3 marks and no special type of eyes. |

i think the main issue is just the fact that half of the chaseds are blank nbws, while we only recovered a few of the t3s. Maybe they dont want to flood the market with gen 1 t3s or breed only marks and bases, but making half of all chased wolves just nbws doesn't work either. I personally wouldn't make them more common. I don't like the craze of low gen, zero inbreeding wolves, cause it means that people who dont care are forced into low genning so their pups can sell. But if the devs dont care, then that's not going to change, and I just have to abide. also as a probably unimportant note, I've found no chaseds that I like, and 1 non chased nbw that i like Chased wolves should be rare, but they should also be special. They shouldn't be wolves that someone threw away because the wolf was complete garbage, but because their standards are higher than yours. Because they breed for stats and you breed for beauty. pups not being added to the chased pool will likely be resolved if a giving tree equivalent comes out. Good pups just get sent to the tree. Chased adults are still mostly useless. It might be hard to code, but i think a system that auto deletes befriended wolves is best. or If it was created less than a few days ago. or if it only has a few, nbw marks. or even just if it has no heritage, which would also delete previously chased and claimed wolves and customized ones, but if the others aren't codable that's a sacrifice i think we can make. |

I do support some kind of weighting system where "better" wolves have a higher chance of entering the chase pool. It would make sense to have a weighted formula where number of marks + eyes + base tier all factor into a wolf's chance of being found. For example, re: number of markings: Let m = number of marks on a chased wolf. You could apply a multiplier of (1 + (m - 5)/10) to their chance to enter the chased pool. That means a 0m wolf would have a 0.5 multiplier (i.e., their chances of reaching the pool are reduced by half). A 5m wolf would have a multiplier of 1 (base chance, no change), and a 10m wolf would have a multiplier of 1.5 (an extra 50% chance of reaching the pool). This is just spitballing on the numbers - maybe we want to penalize 0m wolves more and prioritize 10m wolves more - but you get the general idea. |

To be honest, befriending wolves as could use some tweaking where chased and rated/exclusive wolves are involved. It is teorized that finding either should be easier as you level up after you reach the appropiate level, but in pracice my experience isn't quite so. Plus I've yet to see someone even finding a 3 starred wolf, nevermind 4 or 5 stars, and unlike chased wolves, these rated wolves with exclusive traits are generated by the site, so they don't depend on anyone chasing them and then making it to explore. Mind, I'm not saying you should find chased or rated wolves 6/10 times in explore, but finding a happy medium shouldn't be a difficult thing to achieve. If there was another way to remove wolves from your pack that could skip them having a chance to wind up in explore, I'm sure players would be happier because they wouldn't be finding generated chased wolves left and right. |

It would be nice, however, to see the chased wolves be "better." Something like TI wolves should have 5+ markings to be added to the chase pool, TII wolves would need at least 3+ markings, and TIII + special wolves wouldn't need markings to be added to the pool. Starred wolves seem to be really uncommon. I've only found 1 three starred wolf. I'm not quite sure how that works, but it could use some tweaking. All in all I really agree with Lionel. |
