Ah! Hello, I'm new here. I was named as Queen Isauna's heir just a few days ago and arrived just in time to take up the mantle of pack leader. It will take some getting used to, but I'm  determined to do everything I can for the good of the pack.

...Pardon the mess. My aunt was a steadfast warrior and a good leader, but it appears she never had time for record-keeping. I have assembled what I can from her hastily scribbled notes, though it should not be taken as a complete account by any means.

And for posterity, today is the first of summer in year 8 by our reckoning.
