Although Tyka would've preferred she didn't steal his cones to date some hot dude she just met, he is very excited and nervous, as is September and most rest of the pack. Pups are pups, and no matter where they come from or how disappointing they may end up, every pup deserves love and a chance... And here, in Fierce Grace, these pups will have their place, even if not forever.

32nd Day of Dawn of Time...

~ Rollover. 

~ Redwood gives birth to Tyka's, and September's, first two grandpups! Not only are they the first grandpups, they're also the first gen 3 in the pack, and so, the first two in Fierce Grace to adapt the term NIB.

NIB - Not Inbred

As well as that, they're also currently the strongest wolves born into the pack, Skylight strongest at 278 stats. First-born Mosswood is only a stat weaker at 277! 

Tyka is so proud to be a grandfather, so overly delighted and so full of affection for the latest additions to the Fierce Grace family. Each puppy is assigned a pupsitter, though different for the best chances at surviving and living to see another day. 

~ Tyka, after having his progress slowed down for so many days, is only finally getting ready to reach level 12, meanwhile Redmask is contributing the last scouts, or scout, to unlock Swamp! Hooray! Grizzly doesn't mind to let her take the final steps.

~ The Swamp is now fully discovered! Redmask begins on the last biome to be discovered. Grizzly meanwhile, still too weak to scout the Glacier, went rescouting. 

~ Tyka FINALLY levels up to level 12, thanks to beating up a elk bull! Hooray! 

~ Redmask discovers the Rainforest! 

~ Jakewa pregnant.

~ Grizzly scouts the Rainforest! 

~ Whilst patrolling his borders late tonight, Tyka came along to the border closest to a neighboring pack, doing his usual rounds when he noticed the leader of the pack was calling out something about a rare puppy, only for 100 SC. Only for 100 SC, and its rare? Interested, Tyka assumes it's safe to cross out of hid territory towards his neighbor. Seeing and hearing now from the leader, female, she regards him with a stoic expression as she tells him all the cool things about her here puppy. Tyka half-listened, too busy studying the pup, a confident little guy. He kept his expession curious, but not expressing too much excitement about the idea of taking home a handsome young lad such as the pup before him, full of potential. Finally, before any other interest could suffice, Tyka simply says 'deal', gives up the cones, and takes the pup without much more exchange. 

Once home, he introduces the pup to the pack as Melchior. In welcome, they shall howl together a song... A new tradition set in place, Melchoir the first to be welcomed this way. 

The puppy hardly shown any nervousness, though he was a bit awkward and smiled too tightly, yet his young voice was full of confidence. He, Tyka watched him with a straight expression, concealing his smile as he thought, is a worthy member of Fierce Grace. 

Welcome, Melchior.

A few members of Fierce Grace really admire that red carnage Melchior has going on... Surely, he was always meant to find his way to Fierce Grace. A troubling amount of hard-earned SC was taken away, but maybe all in good reason. 

~ Whooo, the hunters sure had a busy day! In total, 19 hunts have been completed today, 20 to end sometime after rollover. Good work, hunters! :)

33rd Day of Dawn of Time...

~ Rollover.

~ All puppies are safely protected, all but Melchior at 100%. To boost his chances of survival, one of the 100% puppies will be dropped and to be given enough attention to keep their rates safe, while Melchi is safer. 

~ Grizzly and Redmask are in a loop of rescouting and scouting the Rainforest. The Glacier is still untouchable. 

~ Division's open wound to be cured.

~ Some evil wolves were spotted doing weird shit down in the deciduous forest, Grizzly noticed. Redmask was with him, she oping to report this to Tyka right away, but Grizzly stopped her. There's no need, he argued, these wolves lived nowhere near Fierce Grace. They were none to be of concern. Redmask didn't seem convinced, but she didn't say anything to Tyka, Grizzly watching. Later that night, he thought maybe he should get Birchwood to come with him to check out to see what this pack was up to.

34th Day of Dawn of Time...

~ Rollover.

~ Jakewa to be nested. She's giving birth the next day! 

~ Grizzly scouting Rainforest as much as possible. Redmask stuck rescouting.

~ Kai came home with an illness! Itching, scabs in ears. Must be ear mites for sure! 

I was correct- Kai now healthy of ear mites. :)

~ Jukai gets an open wound, quickly gets it taken care of.

~ A wolf by the name of Oxblood is allowed to hang around the pack. Surprisingly, Birchwood takes a liking to him, beginning to hang out with him and sometimes even referring to him as his friend, which the other wolf did not mind. Jukai questions Oxblood later, suspiously, asking him if the two were really friends. Not every wolf trusted Birchwood, and to hear him being friends with a stranger is brow-raising. September watched the two conversate from nearby, while Acorn, Firehide, and Yellowjacket kept check on the pups. Oxblood tells the loyal that no, they were not friends. He will leave when he likes without regard of Birchwood's feelings, as he has no concern for him. Satisfied, Jukai left him alone. 

Grizzly would share few words with Oxblood whenever he saw him, but their conversations were never long. Unbothered by Birchwood hanging out with someone else, Grizzly spends more of his time with the lovely, strong-willed and sensible Redmask.

Birchwood pretended not to be hurt by his best friend's absense. 

~ A new wolf, Kremlin, disproves the assumption that higher leveled wolves means more stats. Kremlin was a level 20 battle wise, but that is proven irrelevant claiming wise, as upon claiming, he has only 195 stats. There is no possible way to get a good look on stat possiblities before befriending the wolf... Only age gives more or less stats depending on how young or old, which you'll only have this knowledge after befriending.

He'll tempoarily hang around Fierce Grace, as Oxblood is, until further notice... 

~ I have no self-control and attachment issues, therefore, I am refusing to buy slots until my soon to age-up adolescents grow... Let's see how that goes.

~ Removing avatar, as I have gotten tired of seeing it. I prefer having my lead represent me, anyways.

~ Jakewa brings in four new lovely additions to Fierce Grace! Their survival rates are a alarming 58%, but I'm sure they'll survive. Afterall, not a pup had died yet in Fierce Grace! The new additions are Sunbreath, Weasel, Saphyn, and Lymph! Weasel is seen is daddy's girl, as she has all his marks, while Saphyn is seen as mama's boy, having her one and only marking.

~ ⚡ FS needs to level-up before I have a mental breakdown over how pitiful the HP system feels. Is it not logical that a non-active wolf doing nothing for 6+ hours get a bit of HP? Do wolves just not take care of themselves during break time? 

Holy dung, Jukai and Kai just had a level-up. Now for the rest of the gang... Shit, Division needed to be one of those ready to level, being at 0 HP and all. Division started this whole open wound and 0 HP casterophy, and of course it falls upon his shoulders that the remaining of the gang shall level when he is able. Tf is this; these wolves have to rely on Division to level, unless they leave Division. Fuck, then Division can't level unless I provide a healing salve, and Tyka needs that. 

I hope the staff hear my words; please... A bit of HP every four to six hours? :orz:

~ Jakuel... returns with, you guessed it, an open wound. It gets cured.

Yay, we have a new schedule in place food-wise, suggested by Jukai and confirmed to be set in place by the other loyals! Here's the schedule...

Seasonal Schedule - Food

In all seasons, she-wolves nursing and young pups are fed first, especially in fall and winter. 

During spring, majority of food is to be sold. During summer, it depends. If hunters prove insufficient, save large kills, sale all else. In fall, if hunting is proving insufficient, save both large and medium kills. NO selling large kills AT ALL! Most importantly in winter, only critters are allowed to be sold, assuming I have a well-stock on large and/or medium kills. 

In winter and sometimes in fall, leader eats LAST, with the exception that the leader is female that is either pregnant or nursing pups. 

Jukai emphasizes that pups should ALWAYS be fed first, unless there is a pregnant or nursing she-wolf to tend to, from then weaned pups shall be fed second. 

Division suggests that those in working roles, including leader as priority, should be fed third over adolescents, as it is those in working roles that bring the most to the pack. Adding on to this, he says that non-working adults are fed after adolescents. 

This sparked a lot of controversy, half the loyals arguing that the adolescents should be fed after the she-wolves expecting or nursing and pups, while the other side agreed with Division. Tyka was unsure, looking to September, whom supported that adolescents eat before the working class, but he kind of agreed with Division as well, and it seems that Jukai agrees with him as well. 

Grizzly states that scouts exhaust themselves to protect the territory, and are therefore weaker when they return. " Scouts and at least the hunters and pupsitters must be after the pups, if not all those that work. Especially us scouts, as we hurt the most even in spring. " 

Kai and a few other wolves glanced at Tarrow, whom has yet to take a side, wondering how he'll react to being excluded. Tarrow however doesn't say anything, letting the next wolf take turn. Acorn growls lowly, " how can you say the adolescents are not as deserving of food as a pup? They're only just pups themselves, just bigger and older! I work hard everyday to protect puppies, and I even make sure our adolescents are well when Yellowjacket and Firehide have their eyes on my lot, which is usually more than what they can handle, which is not their faults, being not as experienced as I. Back to the point, " he quickly said when Kai opened his mouth to tell him to remain on topic, the brown wolf closing his mouth as Acorn went on. " I didn't work hard to protect those pups, now adolescents, only to watch them starve when us adults could handle going a few days without food. They need that food to ensure proper growth and the best of their strengths! " 

September nodded. " How can we eat and turn a blind eye to our young adults, whom are very much the future caretakers and workers to protect future young, as they starve? It's not moral! " 

" I'd rather starve then watch our young suffer. " Tarrow muttered, contributing his first words to the conversation. 

" Then how about this; " Grizzly stands up so he could be heard better, " she-wolves with pups and puppies are fed first, no exceptions to that. The scouts come next, then the sickly and ill, including elders. " Kai opened his mouth to interrupt, but Grizzly speaks louder, " in spring and summer, adolescents are fed fourth, but in fall and winter, it's the working class to eat over them. Elders and sickly fall under everyone. We have to make sure the healthy remains healthy... We can't save everyone in the most bitter winters. " 

This sparked growls and snarls, fur bristling. Then again, there was logic in Grizzly's words...

" Where does everyone stand, Grizzly's point, or September's point? " Tyka asked, opting to remain neutral, his words sullen. 

Jukai, Division, and Kai stand by Grizzly, while Acorn stands by September. Tarrow pondered, remaining neutral. 

" Jukai, I thought you were more considerate? " September looks at the dark male, to which he returns her gaze. " I am being considerate. Our adolescents our young and most are strong, able wolves. They will survive as long as our scouts are able to continue protecting our borders, the hunters continue bringing in food, our herbalist stocks up on all he can, and our pupsitters are at their best to focus and pay attention on our most valued members in the pack. " Jukai gently argues, knowing how strongly September and especially Acorn felt about the young. September soon sighed, agreeing, but then brought up what Grizzly said about the ill and elders. " But we can't let our elders and ill starve! They can't help that they're old or sickly. How are they to be well enough to keep going if they receive the poorest amount of food or quality of food? Now that, is immoral... " she gave a pointed glare to Grizzly. Jukai and Division started to look unsure. 

" It is logical and moral. " Grizzly countered, " yes, maybe they won't be in the best shape with this system, but at least our able wolves are sustaining themselves to keep healthy and if they remain healthy and in good shape, the food should come down and satisfy the lowest of our ranks. Otherwise, why feed the elders when they could hardly catch a grouse, or the ill when their next breath can potentially be their last? They can't contribute... " 

" Now that is absurd! " Tarrow interrupted, this time sounding unusually heated. " If we focus on only our able wolves, our ill will suffer, and the stars know they wouldn't last long! " 

" Yeah! " Acorn stood by Tarrow, " your plan for the ill and weak is what a wolf of dark ideals would put in place... It's evil at it's finest! " 

" I believe we should have the entire pack, excluding pups and young adolescents of course, help make this decision... Otherwise if we put something in place that the majority doesn't like, there will be problems. " Kai growls softly, giving each wolf a look of meaning. If the majority doesn't like this, they can and will turn against those that put the system in place. Other packs had suffered this very thing.

" I agree. " Tyka stands up, " this is a decision for the pack to decide, not just the loyals. It'll be affecting all of us, afterall... " 

Grizzly frowns deeply. 

After lots of controversy and arguing, they decide to do a vote versus September's or Grizzly's system, thus putting the first ever voting system in order.

Finally, the votes had been cast, and the majority agrees with September. 

Grizzly seems not looking of defeat, but instead, defiance and determination. Somethimg will change sooner or later, for the greater good, even if the majority doesn't understand. He is most disappointed to see that Redmask voted against him, and angry that Jakuel only voted for September out of spite against him. Morons such as Jakuel shall fall under and find a class lower then elders and the sickly. Gathering his friends not including the loyals, Grizzly went to speak with them in private, leaving his fellow scout Redmask to ponder by herself of where to next scout... She decided that scouting their mountain home is a must.

~ Main cave, Rysen Cavern, has it's name changed to Ferocious Red Cavern.

~ Rollover.

~ Leveling up, everyone feeling good! Except for Melchior? He keeps refusing to eat, and therefore, receiving a penalty... Yet he is not sick? Might have to bugbox or something, I've no idea. 

~ Pups Camel, Bear, Honey, Falcon, Nighthawk, and Tree all grown to adols, while Skylight and Mosswood has been weaned! Burning Bush and Blaze need to get their places into the pack before RO...

~ September gets an open wound, quickly healed. 

~ Birchwood gets an open wound, not so quickly healed.

~ For reasons of having a couple slots for Burning Bush and Blaze, I had bought one and was hoping to get another, but that hope is now in vain. Instead, miss Dansyryss joins, and now I'm having to sadly see Pyro and Yellowjacket planned to go...

Oh, wait! Blaze exclaims he doesn't even want to be here anymore! What?!!?! He wants to leave to another pack! Absurd! Yellowjacket seems pretty happy, however Burning Bush looks so sad and anxious...

Day 38th of Dawn of Time...

~ Rollover.

~ 🔥 WF gaining a member to replace Pyro, whom had left to a different pack. Dansyryss is now apart of the party. A few members seem saddened by Pyro's, and then Blaze's, leave.

~ Birchwood to be healed of his open wound. 

~ The pack misses Pyro; the male had made the honorable choice to leave to make room. Redmask was one of his close friends, she seeming quite down today. Blaze had also left as a female is welcomed in. Burning Bush seems very sad and looks rather lonely. Tyka doesn't seem at his best today. 

~ Oxblood and Kremlin made official. 

~ For fall and the upcoming winter, the orders of the caves has been changed to feed/amuse the Resting Tavern, Littlethorn Cave, and the Ferocious Red Cavern in this order. 

Then, instead, it's decided that the Resting Tavern will always remain a sickly and ill cave, so nursing and pregnant females will be in Littlethorn Cave with the pups and adolescents.

~ Kassineal is brought to the pack by Birchwood, Grizzly convincing Tyka to take him in and let him have a place after a long talj between the two, then between the leader and other loyals. No one trusted the aggressive male, however Grizzly seems trusting, which convinced a few of the wolves to trust the new male as well. 

Later, Grizzly, Birchwood, Oxblood, Kremlin, and Kassineal grouped together to head out somewhere. Grizzly decided to invite Redmask along, but she refused. Instead, she asked him what the hell was going on with all these strangers, startling Grizzly. Grizzly decided to take her somewhere private and tell her his grand plans... 

~ Division and his open wound get healed. Just kidding, only the open wound gets healed.

~ Tyka's slow ass should hopefully hit level 13 today. 

~ Seeing as Yellowjacket needed pups to protect, Firehide and Acorn oped to let him take over one pup from each of them, so he did. Now, Yellowjacket happily protects Saphyn and Mosswood. The three form a bond, Yellowjacket happily pupsitting and teaching them new things like an unofficial mentor. 

Mentor? 

During this fall, windy day, the Loyals and leader sat in their usual meeting spot secluded away from the rest of the pack, conferring and debating the best ways the young members of Fierce Grace will learn and be taught on the best ways of scouting, hunting, herbalism and pupsitting, and just basic ways to survive in a harsh and cold world in the mountains. Sure it's not always so cold, but fall and winter could be brutal. Luckily, no wolf had died in the home of Fierce Grace. Not even a young puppy. Any wolf that had left Fierce Grace from day one to now had been fair game, however of course, perhaps staying in Fierce Grace was the best choice to continue on living in this cold and cruel, but beautiful, world. 

" But wouldn't it make more sense that each member of the pack provides the young of our ranks the best experience and teach them every skill they know from pup to adult? From even then, the oldest and more experienced of us would still teach those younger than us, regardless if they're pup or adult. " Division argued, the Loyals spilt off into three groups, each group with a different ideals and a different argument to bring to the floor. The lead arguments are presented by Division, whom believes the entire pack should work to teach and offer their skills and wisdom to the younger members of the pack, and sometimes older if necessary.., Tarrow, whom stands strong with the argument that from pups to even adulthood if necessary should be mentored by a certain wolf in the rank the pup is planned to fill in future. Otherwise, pups that will likely not take on a role should be mentored by those that have time, which could be a specific wolf or more, to teach neccesary and essential life skills to make through as a loner if they have to. Pups that'll make very good leaders should be mentored by the leader themself, or even the leader shall teach older wolves that could fit rank if needed, and then finally Grizzly with the argument that pups only from weaned to a year shall be taught and mentored in the way Tarrow had suggested. If the wolf fails to contribute in anyway by a year, and sometimes adolescents in the most challenging times, they shall be chased off, as they can't catch as much food as mouths when the most brutal months hit. After a long debate and snappy, argumentative bickering, they decide that the pack will take a vote. 

By the end of it, it seems like Grizzly has the pack in his favor. He and Redmask share a look when Tyka annouces that they'll put Grizzly's mentoring system in order. Much to Grizzly's annoyance, Birchwood came over to congratulate him, seeming rather happy and just annoying, especially when he's trying to keep Redmask's eye. Redmask turns away and leaves early to scout, leaving Grizzly rather irritated and grumpy with his friend. Snapping at him to go hunt, Grizzly began stalking off to go scout the rainforest. Birchwood sort of just stood there, a little shocked, before turning his muzzle half-way towards Grizzly and snarling. " Really? Acting like leader already? " his comment made the white and honey-grizzled male stop in his tracks, " you're honestly pathetic and blind... How do you suppose your pl- "

That's when Grizzly stalked back over to him and growled, most of the pack watching, Birchwood's hunting party waiting for hik with impatient frowns. " Shut up, idiot! " he snapped at him, his words hushed, but dark with threat as he grabbed him and dragged him away somewhere more private to have a 'friendly' chat. " You'll listen to me regardless of my rank, you hear? " the male warned darkly, his teeth dangerously close to the other's jugular, making Birchwood act submissive, lowering his head and laying his ears back and quickly nodding as he tried to pull away, whimpers of apology his only verbal response. " Good. " Grizzly stepped back after letting go of him, keeping his olive glare on him. Jukai narrowed his eyes at the two, unnerved of how Grizzly dragged Birchwood away and out of earshot so aggressively. Sure the male was always rather hostile, even to packmates, but that just seemed... Wrong. Whatever Grizzly had snarled at Birchwood was what he and probably most of the other pack didn't hear, which annoyed him. Now he was sure, Grizzly was doing something behind the scenes that'll affect every wolf eventually. It's a shame only he would realize this as Grizzly not just playing around, it's a shame he just can't seem to find the time to speculate further. Tyka always seemed wanting him doing something, and the pack expected the best out of him. He wasn't going to let his emotions get in the way of anything, so as his restlessness and exhaustion slipped his mind, so did the Grizzly concerns. Tyka wasn't very impressed, deciding he'll talk to Grizzly when he got the chance. Since it always seemed the male was either scouting, too busy eating and sleeping, it wasn't long before most forgot the aggressive act. It wasn't anything new anyways, just something they forgot about. Birchwood had annoyed him, so maybe the male deserved it. September made sure Birchwood was in good shape to go hunting, and then they went on their way. 

~ September gets an open wound, to later be healed.

~ Bear was unfortunately brutally murdered by another pack after a strange female invaded Fierce Grace territory and chased him down from the mountains. In the terror, he slipped and fell off one of the steeper drops, breaking his neck in the fall. September, Jukai, and Division, found the young wolf after Camel and Honey, the brothers of Bear, whom had went out with Bear to explore and was thinking of if they should really leave Fierce Grace or not, came yelling back to camp after meeting up, speaking of how they lost Bear, but knew the direction to go. Once September and the two males found the dead adol, September broke out in heartbroken, mournful wail-howls at the sight of her pup. Jukai and Division soon followed suit, September moving quickly over to her pup and falling beside him, hugging her dear son close. Soon the whole pack had gathered, heads bowed. This was the first official death in Fierce Grace. Tonight, they'll mourn. 

Side note; this kinda pisses me off Bear was bought and then just straight-up chased for no reason other than to waste money to chase him, especially being the one I would've kept out of any of the litter. I was considering to get on and take him off sale, but whatever. The buyer was in full-rights of what they done, it was their wolf, but it still grinds my gears and makes me quite sad. I would've rather saw he was bought as a pup and used for pupsitting prof, then chased when adol, or had him used for karma fodder if it was a thing currently at this time. At least it makes for good lore. 

~ September gets healed, Birchwood and Division hit 0 HP. We need passive HP regen, ffs, please.

~ My dumbass has been calling the heatstroke remedy heartstroke since my very first day, wtf. I've been regularly referring heatstroke as heartstroke and only just noticed not because I realized, but because in a suggestion thread talking about illness dynamic, the first thing was heatstroke! THAT'S when I was like, "now wait a darn minute, is it really heatstroke?" 

After a confirmation check with Herbert, it is indeed heatstroke. 

Even my phone corrects it to heartstroke when I type it out, flliiipppppp 😂

~ A sweet, dedicated and hard-working pup found herself to Fierce Grace land, busy trying to drag an large branch to make a makeshift den. Camel and Honey took sympathy on the puppy, figuring out she had been sent away from her pack due to unspecified reasons. Deciding they'll take care of her, they brought her home and were dedicated to convincing the pack they should take her in. Finally, they agree. When asked about her name, she says she has none, so Tyka takes it upon himself to name her. " Very well. You shall be known as... " 

" Wait! " Camel interrupts, brave to interrupt his leader. Every wolf turned their eyes to him, some looking scolding, but Camel confidently held his head up high, Honey looking to Camel with an surprised look. " I think we should name her. We found her, afterall. " he boldly says, his amber eyes determinded. After a long stare, Tyka lets out a long, quiet sigh. " Fair enough. You two shall name her. " 

After some thought, Camel came to the decision after conferring with Honey. " Dandelion shall be her name. She looks like a dandelion turning white in it's final stages in preparation to let the wind or a passerby knock the seeds away and into the air to find new places to bloom, spreading like a wildfire in fields and woods all across the mountains. " 

Honey nods, smiling, the pup, Dandelion, looks very happy and welcomed, the pack raising their heads to the blue sky and howling in welcome. 

~ " Kai is at 0 health points and needs to be healed. " - yeah, heck you, RNG.
