If no one else is keen to take over, I can look into condensing all the data posted so far and starting a new thread/spreadsheet for further tracking?

Not sure if anyone did get around to starting a spreadsheet. I needed a distraction yesterday from somethings going on outside of WD, and was very curious about the data, So I created a spreadsheet.

NBW Encounter Percentages Spreadsheet

* Spreadsheet has all of the data in this thread.
*First page "Total Data" has all totaled data collected.
*First section of rows has all NBW/Chased/Star encounters total per level.
*Second section of rows (Light Blue) has all the percentages per level.
*Third section of rows (Green) is the average NBW catch rate for all levels which is currently at a even 3%. & I also added the total number of encounters we have collected over all levels.
*Second page "Player Entries" is all of the entries everyone has posted on this thread. you can see your chased % in each level. I grouped all names together for easy viewing all your data. I added all levels together example: all level 20 entries a player submitted with the exception of lead changes. I did separate leads so you can see chased % per lead (this is descending, so your first lead you started entering with is the first set of data etc).

So 4 & 5 Star encounters must be extremely rare or nonexistent?

I don't think it's necessary making a new thread if we can get hold of OP so they edit their first post with a link to the spreadsheet with explanations and/or your post.

Going forward, would you rather we keep posting our numbers here, or fill out the spreadsheet, or both?

I can keep the spreadsheet updated. so if everyone wants to keep posting  numbers here like normal, I'll keep it updated. I wouldn't mind sharing the spreadsheet so others could update too BUT the spreadsheet is formula heavy so it can get messed up pretty easy. I almost messed up the one me and Zodiakey share a few times . Moving rows down and copying formula's as to not mess up the counts could be a problem. I'm very active so keeping it updated shouldn't be a problem tho. but if everyone would prefer to update the spreadsheet let me know.

I don't mind either way. I think it would be easier for you if everyone updated their own stats, but it would indeed be less secure, so it's your choice, it doesn't change anything for me.

(I think there's some kind of versions system somewhere if you mess something up)
