Aye. So from what I've seen so far, you can get SC from fishing, quests, the trading raccoon, and explore encounters. However, these seem to give relatively small amounts of SC compared to what you need to upgrade your wolf slots. Are there other, more efficient ways to accumulate SC? If not, is there a meta/schedule already established for how to get the most SC per day? Oh yeah, one more thing: What are some guides you guys might reccomend? |

I'd recommend staying in a starter biome and hunting constantly every day. Your hunters proficiency will go up and you'll catch a lot of extra food once their proficiency is up. You can then sell this extra food on the TC! Many players are always in need of food if they have a large pack or are committed to raising and chasing wolves. You will also get some sc/items from rolling over consistently! |

As for guides the Grouse House has multiple guides ranging from breeding to battling and even on the Lunar Event. I would recommend searching up "Grouse House" in the search bar of the chatter section and looking through which guides you want to read. Some of them explain the rarity of the bases and markings and such! |

Much like Sleepy said hunting us going to be your biggest friend in SC grinding. If you can get a good team of hunters you should be able to get a decent amount of food, especially during the spring when hunting is given a boost! Depending on what season it is you can get away with selling food a little pricier, winter is good for that since hunting can be pretty rough for players who aren't readily prepared. Outside of selling food on TC I typically sell all of my 1-4 use food and meat chunks to the raccoon unless it is something hard to come by. I've seen agouti carcasses go for pretty high, so always check TC before selling some of the critter carcasses as you might be able to make 4x the SC compared to what the raccoon gives you! Every other way to earn SC can be a slow grind, exploring can give you a few but it caps out at 5k and studding is hit or miss depending on the demand of your stud. Once you max out your territory space it is much easier to save up the SC though as you aren't stuck buying more SC slots that cost upwards of 1k+ :') As for guides Grouse House is definitely your best bet, they have tons of different guides that can be pretty helpful to new players! I've used the genetics guide quite a bit and their hunting/scouting guide can show you which stats are best in certain roles! If you're looking to stat breed look at IceOrthus' stat guide as well. I've used it to help determine the range of stats my pups would be at and it's pretty accurate if you're looking to get the most stats out of a pairing! |

Thanks for the help! I have one last question that I forgot to mention: Does the weather affect anything, or is it just there to add some flavor? On top of that, I've heard that Spring gives extra food while Winter is pretty hard- what's up with Summer and Fall? |

Weather effects some flavor text in explore, and there's some decor that the raccoon will only sell during specific weathers, but otherwise it doesn't do anything. Summer and fall are not as easy as spring, but still pretty easy - a 100% chance in spring might go down to 90% chance in summer and fall. |
