Cattails!!! I really like Cattails, it's just a shame there's not a whole lot to do, at least compared to Stardew Valley as so many people try to compare it to. |

Oh dear, I have way too many favourites... Maybe I'll try narrow the list down to five!
I also didn't mind Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Animal Crossing: New Leaf, but they're not quite good enough to make top 5, haha. |

these
three are sort of the pinnacle of my love for video games, with red
dead redemption 2 being an experience that literally changed me. it
brought me up and broke me down and... it's just something i'll never
forget. i could go on and on about that game. when i finished my first playthrough arthur didn't even feel like a video game character, he was a real person that i knew. i also love charles smith, lenny, hosea, and some of the other gang members. everyone in that game is so real. i'm on my second
playthrough of this game currently. as for the first game, i remember
playing it all the time and watching my father play it. i probably
played the first one 2-3 times over throughout my childhood. bloodborne is a game i've
spent hundreds of hours in, i've experienced the bloodborne story so
much it's kind of burned into my mind. i received the platinum for
bloodborne sometime earlier this year, and the first time i played and
beat the main game (not hunter's nightmare) i remember crying. idk why i did, but the
soundtrack just made the moment so intense and heavy that i just...
cried. bloodborne really is the top tier of eldritch victorian horror
games, there's nothing like it. the soundtrack gives me chills, the boss
fights are spectacular, and the story is so amazingly mysterious you
always go back for more and more. my favorite fights from that game
have to be gascoigne and ludwig. just... *chef's kiss* journey... i remember playing it so so so many times. the soundtrack, like bloodborne's, really emphasizes everything that game has to offer and just... man. i always cry at the end, when you scale the mountain with your companion, and the score really kicks in and just flows through you in this incredibly surreal moment as you fly through the air. the anonymity granted to you in the game also makes the multiplayer aspect of it so fresh and different. it's one of thatgamecompany's best experiences. this post is really long so here are some honorable mentions (these games are really really amazing, i just don't want to make my post longer than it already is):
